Subject: Training - Friday November 29

So the remaining squad included:

Mcstay
DC
Frampton
Fin
Steene
Sidey
Hill
Crisp
Reef
Beau
WHE
ND
Markov
Howe
Johnson
Checkers
Cox

No Jordy
Harrison did some rehab work on the sidelines.

It was a decent session in the morning heat, that went on for more than 2 1/2hrs, itching toward the 3hr mark. They started off with a block of conditioning running, back and forth through the middle of the ground.
Then they paired off in groups and worked through some ground ball work, and rotated every 5 mins or so.

Resetting then they went into line groups.
Other drills included a focus on tackling, and closing in one someone's space if the opposition has ball in hand.

Then they went into some transition work, as they worked in two three separate groups and rotated. Moving the ball not just through the sides but through the middle.
There was focus on running in waves, and by hand up the middle of the ground until you found a forward target to kick to.
Then there was a bit more full ground match sim type senarios where they moved with the mids starting in the middle, and the backs and forwards in position.

There was more running to top off the session.
There was a point where mcstay came off second best, and went off the ground for a bit. But he came back on and finished with the running.
Another incident with Dean, while he was running, he complained about soreness just below his knee. He went off to see a medico and came back on after getting it checked out, completing some final running drills.

It was Steene v DC in the ruck, with Cox was predominant up forward, usually on Reef then Cox was on Maynard lol. Now that's giving up a bit of height to say the least.

Some players were thrown around.
Fin playing inside and wing.
Lippa wing and inside
Beau did some centre bounce work
Howe went forward when Mcstay was off.
