Whether to give or not give a yellow card is the most subjective call in football.

I’ve seen worse than that not given and lesser given.

The Bergvall call is not clear cut as the Liverpool mafia will lead you to believe.

Also, as Ange explained at presser, the referees have been directed to not give yellow card if advantage paid (and challenge not nasty and cynical) which was the case with Bergvall challenge.
