Subject: Not all photogs put the heavy filters .. but I think it’s a known thing.. people pay lots of money for glam headshots and it’s a pageant headshot so we expect them to be glammed out. What’s important is that the young lady is who she says she is on paper and can articulate that into an interview… and most of the time the headshot is what is on stage minus a little filter or two. It’s 2024 .. you can filter anything but you can’t filter that interview in person. Pagesnt headshots aren’t supposed to be simple or plain.

I agree with most of what you said but I do think it places a bad taste in a judges mouth when it is obvious how edited the picture is. There have been a few posted in the last few days that make you question “why?” The photoshop around the head when you zoom in, the hair line, the very overlined lips, the removed braces, even some that obviously used AI. Why would you as a delegate even want to submit a photo that makes them go “is this the same girl”? (NT)No name18:01:02 11/18/24 Mon
