Miss NC has found a new home in High Point. They are not going to leave a city that gives them kickbacks like High Point does for Miss NC. Raleigh Memorial Auditorium is a thing of the past. They do no want Miss NC and the City of Raleigh couldn’t care less about the Miss NC org. Let’s get out of the past and embrace the new and future that has come to be for the Miss NC Org. I think High Point is great, my only question is why they haven't gotten Nido Quebein (High Point University Chancellor) involved. He was very involved when NC -USA was here and since that's over, he's ripe for the pickin'. He's also one of the most powerful people in the State and has been responsible for elevating High Point in a lot of ways due to his expansion work with the University. High Point doesn't care about the Miss contestants. They are more interested in the teens. What Susan, John and McNeil need to be doing is arranging a meeting with key decision makers and bring along several of their students who have participated in the program and gone on to HPU. HPU is very excited about the MNC organization and its preliminaries that surround it. If you look at the Miss Thomasville org and Miss High Point org they offered scholarships to their Miss and Teen. (NT) -- No name, 08:31:34 01/03/25 Fri
