Perhaps NC should crown the best regardless of where they are from or what color they are. Other states would welcome some of the ones you suggest tossing aside. They would probably end up mopping the floor with NC too. (NT) No name 08:44:10 01/11/25 Sat

If I had to choose between a Miss NC who makes top 10 at Miss America but doesn't give AF about NC nor the people in the state or a Miss NC who doesn't make the ten but who gives her all to the people of the stateand truly serves in the role, I'll take the latter all day every day and twice on Sundays. Best example of this was Victoria Huggins. She tried 5 times to win the crown. I'm also sure she was devastated missing Top 10 at Miss America. However, she came home, dried her years and was everywhere all over the state finishing out her reign. (NT) -- No name, 19:37:23 01/11/25 Sat
