Subject Author Date Guess What. The rule is you must live, work or go to school in NC to compete. Technically anyone with a DL's in NC is eligible to compete in NC. That being said, I am sure Lauren does live in NYC, but since her DL's says NC, she is eligible. I am not sure why you are making a big deal out of this, Lauren Walsh has never been a threat. She will barely make the top 5 again like years past or she will sit in the Top 10 like she did her 2 years competing for Miss NY. Leave the child alone. Winners get better and better each year. They have hit or miss talents, boring interviews and pretty decent wardrobe. WE in NC need to step our game up and find woman that can actually compete at Miss America unlike what we have had our last 15 years. This is on the Local Directors!
