Everybody knows at this point there are about 6-7 serious contenders for Miss NC title this year.
And these are all veterans.
That's an easy call.
However, in NC, doing well one year guarantees absolutely nothing.
I can name at 3 least three former 1st runner ups that returned and didn't even make Top 10 the next year.
Of the newbies, who looks poised to make a splash?

Wasn't Josie Perdue 1st RU to Miss NC OT? (NT)No name13:09:09 01/24/25 Fri
I think it’s way too early to call. Several more prelims to go. A lot can happen in 5 months. Fitness can drastically change, interview can greatly improve and so can talent and poise for OSQ. Sure there are a few front runners simply based on past performances but if I were a contestant I would most definitely be putting in the work. MAO is so much sooner next year .. they are going to want someone MAO:MAOT ready … polished and consistent with excellent speaking skills and rigorous work ethic. Won’t be a lot of time to change much. I think it’s anyone’s crown at this moment. (NT)No name13:59:52 01/24/25 Fri
Watching Kellstrom, Wellborne-Lewis, Jones, Mallard...don't dismiss Rowdy and Westbrooke...Howard will stand out as well...and from the comments it looks like some new girls may take a place in the top 15/10...going to be an exciting year (NT)No name05:19:49 01/28/25 Tue
