The Frys of Well Rd.

Hi all.

I have stumbled across your site & found it very interesting, as myself & my daughter Kirsty (22) are the last remaining members of Nora & Sidney Fry's family (my grandparents)of Well Rd Heeley. I am the last surviving of 3 brothers born to Roderick (not Rodney) Fry & my mum Pamela Hall. My 2 younger brothers (Simon born 1967, died 1981 of leukemia age 14) and Nathan (born 1970 & died 2008 of a heart attack, as did his dad Roderick age 52). I am Mark Fry aged 48, I lived with my mum & dad 5 doors up on the back, from Nora's home & shop on Well Rd, until age 3 poss 1964. I have one photograph of Nora & Sidney, along with Olive the hairdressing shop owner, & sister Annie, if you would like a jpg copy I will gladly email it to someone. Thank you for stirring my memories (I watched Mr Kendall's chimney come down in the night during a storm in maybe 1963, before diving under the covers in mum & dad's bed).
