Subject: All My Boardies, Episode 2x04 - "All In My Head"

Wolfshrub and SeaBoy stand, holding the baby, as LB demands to know what they're doing. SeaBoy glances over at Wolfshrub, who stammers out that they just came to decide. LB asks them what they're "deciding" about, and Wolfshrub, more confidently, says that she and SeaBoy want to adopt. Wolfshrub pulls SeaBoy into a hug, and LB looks confused. She asks when SeaBoy went straight, and SeaBoy nervously smiles, and shrugs. LB is boggled by this turn of events, and asks if they're just pulling a prank on her. Wolfshrub smiles, saying that they are being one-hundred percent serious, and she kisses SeaBoy on the cheek. LB turns and walks out, saying she really needs to lie down. SeaBoy breathes a sigh of relief, saying that it was lucky Wolfshrub managed to BS their way through the situation. Wolfshrub continues to hold the baby, looking down at it, and SeaBoy asks what she's thinking. Wolfshrub says that she wasn't totally BSing - maybe they could adopt the baby.

At Joe Camel's motel room, there's a knock at the door. He comes out of the bathroom, and opens the door - and there's Dandy, in her little black dress, cradling a bottle of champagne. He asks her what she's doing here, and she says she just came to apologise for the night before. She slinks her way past him, brushing up against him as she does, and he closes the door. She sits down on the bed, and comments on how she likes what he's done with the place. Joe looks at her, and says that the motel is a dive, he's just wiling away time until he can go back home. Dandy says that she wasn't going to say anything, but now that he mentions it, this motel does have a really bad rep. She looks at him, and asks if he has any glasses, to which he shakes his head. Dandy says that it doesn't really matter, and she pops open the champagne. She starts swigging from the bottle, licking the neck as she does so. Joe Camel watches her as she does this, getting a bit hot under the collar. Eventually, he looks away, and asks her why she's here. Dandy puts the bottle down, walks over to him, and starts fiddling with his shirt buttons. She repeats that she's just here to apologise, and that she just wants to make it up to him. She throws him down on the bed, and leaps on top of him, straddling him. She rips open his shirt, and pours champagne over his chest. As her head goes down, we see Joe's eyes bulge, as he gasps in ecstasy.

It's the dead of night. Dandy is lying in bed with Joe. She whispers his name, but he doesn't reply. She pokes him gently, but all he does is roll over. Dandy slowly gets out of bed, and creeps over to his desk. She switches on the lamp, and starts shifting through the photos and documents on the desk. Mostly, the photos are all of Amber, however she comes across some photos of a dead body. Her eyes widen, when suddenly the lights switch on, and she turns, to see Joe pointing a gun at her, asking her what she's doing.

Across town, Morgain is writhing about in bed, obviously in agony. She eventually gets up, and wanders downstairs. When she gets into the kitchen, clutching her back, she pours herself a glass of water, and instinctively reaches for her pills. She opens the bottle, and is about to throw two of them down her throat, when she stops herself. She calmly puts the pills down on the counter, and walks out of the kitchen. She gets back into bed, and lies awkwardly, her back still causing her pain. She sheds a tear in the darkness.

Back in Joe's motel room, Dandy puts the photos back down on the counter, and asks Joe what he's doing. He says that he caught her looking through his intel, she can't play the innocent card. Dandy sashays her way back to bed, and tells Joe that she just wanted a peek. He continues to point the gun at her, but as her hand lightly brushes his thigh, his arm wavers. She asks him about the body, and Joe says that its none of her business. She moves her hand up inside his boxers, and he gasps, lowering the gun. With a glint in her eye, Dandy says that if he tells her, she'll do that thing with her tongue again. Joe shifts away from her on the bed, and tells her that she won't get to him that way. Dandy moves closer to him, and starts to kiss his neck. She asks why he's being so secretive, that there shouldn't be any secrets between lovers. Joe asks if thats what they are, and Dandy pauses, saying that they could be. Joe turns, and tells her that he'll fill her in. Dandy stops, and sits back. Joe gets up, and picks up the photos. He says that he was hired by a professor to follow Amber, which seemed like a usual case - until he went to the professor's house to deliver the latest batch of photos, and he found her body, and the body of her husband. He says that he was under the impression that Amber had something to do with it, so he continued following her - which led him back to the The Boards. After a moment of silence, Dandy asks if he's sure that Amber murdered them. Joe says that he's not certain, but that when he went through Amber's trash that night, he found a bloodied t-shirt. Joe then puts the photos down, and walks back over to the bed. He lays down, and says that he did his part, its only fair Dandy carries out hers. With a grimace on her face, Dandy moves down Joe's body, off camera.

The next morning, Veggie comes to see Wolfshrub. She asks her how she is today, and Wolfshrub says that she's feeling better. Veggie comments that one of the nurses told her that she and SeaBoy were up in the NICU last night, visiting the baby they pulled out of the Caritas incident. Wolfshrub says that she and SeaBoy are thinking of adopting it. Veggie raises an eyebrow, asking when she and SeaBoy became an item. Wolfshrub shrugs, saying that there's a lot people don't know about them. Veggie goes back to writing on the chart, and remarks that if they want to adopt the baby, they'll have to put themselves on the list like everybody else - but there shouldn't be a problem with letting them look after the baby in the meantime. She tells Wolfshrub that she'll send a NICU consult down in an hour or so to talk to the two of them. Veggie leaves, and as she does so, SeaBoy comes in. He sits down, and asks Wolfshrub if she's changed her mind. She shakes her head, saying that she thought about it last night, and it just seems like the right thing to do. SeaBoy asks if Wolfshrub's still planning on killing it, which Wolfshrub denies - she comments that she can't put an end to a life, no matter what might happen if she doesn't. She asks SeaBoy if he's with her on this, and he smiles, and leans in to kiss her. Wolfshrub smiles, asking him if that means he's acclimitasing. SeaBoy leans back, saying that maybe he is.

Down in the ER, Veggie comes to talk to Jaymzangel. She remarks that Triage is surprisingly clear for this time in the morning, to which Jay replies that it just means more time for paperwork. Veggie groans, asking Jay not to remind her, she's got a stack to do by tomorrow evening. Jay says that she could always switch to work back down in the ER, least then she'd have the time. Just then, Morgain walks in through the doors. She comes up to the two doctors, who ask her how she's been. Morgain off-handedly comments that she's fine, then asks to speak to one of them. Veggie says that she had better get up to the ICU, so Jay motions Morgain to step into one of the Exam rooms. Once inside, Jay asks Morgain what's wrong. She says that the pills Veggie prescribed her weren't working, and that she needs something different. Jay asks her what Veggie prescribed her, and Morgain hands her the bottle. Jay remarks that they are some of the best pills for Morgain's type of back condition, Morgain comments that they had some side effects that she wasn't enthralled with. Jay puts them down, and asks her what else she'd like to try, if there's a particular name she has in mind, but Morgain shakes her head, saying only that she'd like something more natural, something with less manufactured gunk in it. Jay looks down at the chart, saying that it could be hard to do, with Morgain's condition. But Jay offers to give it a whirl, and asks Morgain to lift up her shirt, so that she can examine her back.

In ABM's office, Dandy is sitting on his desk, telling ABM what happened last night with Joe Camel. ABM is reclining in his chair, listening as Dandy finishes, telling him what Joe found in Amber's trashcan. She asks ABM what they're going to do about this, and he thinks for a second. He tells her that he's gonna pay Amber a visit, ask her what's going on. He grabs his coat, as Dandy asks what she can do. ABM remarks that AngelX has been bugging them about this social event, she should go talk to her, organise something before AngelX bursts a vessel. He tells Dandy that he won't be gone long, and then he leaves. As he walks towards the front desk, he sees Stormy and Phaedra talking. As he heads for the exit, Stormy shouts after him, asking him when he's gonna do some real work for a change. ABM waves his hand back, saying that Dandy's on top of it, as he leaves. Stormy turns to Phaedra, remarking that the only reason Dandy and ABM seem to be here is to annoy them all into leaving for good. Just then, AngelX calls over the intercom for Stormy to come into her office, to discuss the "thing" they mentioned last night. Stormy leaves Phaedra, and goes into AngelX's office. Once inside, she asks AngelX if she's made any progress. She says that she hasn't, telling Stormy that she tried to con the motel manager into letting her into Dandy's old room, but it seemed as if he'd already been paid off to keep her out. Just then, Phaedra knocks and enters, carrying a package. She hands it to AngelX, who asks her where it came from. Phaedra points out the window, and says that "that guy" just dropped it off. They all look out the window, and see Simon standing outside. He waves at them, then gets into his limo. Phaedra asks what it is, and AngelX says she isn't sure. She opens it, and inside is a bunch of photographs. As she flicks through them, she notices that they're from CCTV cameras - and they show Dandy, carrying the sniper rifle up to, and down from, the rooftop of the Bellagio. Stormy confirms that the Bellagio is the building opposite Gemma's restaurant, where Shrub was shot. AngelX smirks.

Back at the hospital, Steven S is finishing up with Wolfshrub and SeaBoy. He hands them some pamphlets, saying that adoption is a serious life-changing decision, and that they should do some more reading before they put their names on the list. He gets up to leave, and Wolfshrub asks if it would be OK to look after the baby until a decision is made. Steven S remarks that the baby still has to be looked after in the NICU for a while, but he doesn't see a problem with them taking the baby for walks, feeding him, and so forth. Wolfshrub smiles, as Steven S walks out, saying he'll put the paperwork in place. We follow Steven S as he walks down the hallway, towards the elevator. He gets in, and goes down to the ER. Walking through the ER, he waves "hi" to Jaymzangel, before walking out into the ambulance bay. He heads for a door marked "Hospital Personnel Only", and walks through it. He walks down two flights of stairs, into a dimly lit basement. In one corner, a man is lying down. Steven S comes over, and kneels down, bowing his head in front of the man. He tells the man that "they" are wishing to adopt the child, and that it will only be a matter of time before the window is gone. The man sits up - it's TomSmeagol. He kisses the man's head, thanking him for his work. He comments to nobody in-particular that the baby is still alive, and then he turns back to Steven S, and tells him that he won't miss another opportunity.

Over at Gemma's restaurant, she comes in through the front door, and is confronted by the sight of the place, trashed. The bar has been attacked with a chainsaw, the tables and chairs thrown all over the place, and black paint has been splashed over the walls and floor. Gemma stands, shell-shocked, until Toothy walks out of the back room. He looks around, and mockingly says that it's a good thing Gemma decided to redecorate. Gemma looks at him, and asks if he had anything to do with this. Toothy laughs, and says that he would never have anything to do with something so infantile. Then he stops laughing instantly, and looks at her, deadly serious. He comments that he might have something to do with it if it happens again, say when Gemma's just finished refurbishing the place. Gemma, holding back the tears, threatens him, but Toothy laughs it off again, saying that there's nothing she can do to harm him. He hands her a piece of paper, saying that its a list of extras he and Simon think Gemma should add to her restaurant. She reads the list, and says that it will cost half her budget. Toothy shrugs, saying that the financial wranglings aren't their problem. He says that he just wants it done, then walks out. Gemma continues to stand there, shocked, when Salty gingerly comes in. She gasps, asking Gemma what happened. Gemma breaks down, and Salty comes up to her, hugging her. She asks what's wrong, and Gemma says that she's made a terrible mistake, and that Salty was right - she's in far too deep.

Morgain enters the pharmacy, and heads up to Dd, who is at the main desk. She hands her the prescription, and Dd comments that it's a different one this time. Morgain says that her old one wasn't working out, and that Jaymzangel gave her a different prescription. Dd hounds Morgain with questions, asking her about her back, and her life, and with each question Morgain gets increasingly frustrated. Eventually, she yells at Dd, telling her to just give her the damn pills. Dd looks at her, half-surprised, saying that Morgain sounds like she needs to calm down. She hands over a bottle of pills, but then slyly takes a small bag of pills out of her pharmacist's coat, and gives it to her aswell. Morgain asks her what it is, and Dd says that it's her own mix, helps her to de-stress. Morgain asks what's in it, and Dd smirks, saying that there's a little bit of everything in it. Morgain pays for her prescription, then leaves, all the while holding the bag in her hand, looking it over.

Back at the offices, AngelX, Stormy and Dandy are in the office, discussing the social gathering. Dandy looks bored, and eventually Stormy snarks that if Dandy doesn't want to be there, then she could just quit. Dandy just glares at her, saying that the constant annoyance of Stormy is reason enough to stay. Just then, the phone rings, and AngelX answers it. We switch to a limo, with Simon in it, speaking to AngelX. The screen then splits in two, with one half as Simon, and the other AngelX. Simon tells her to take down an address, and AngelX asks what he's doing. Simon repeats that she'll need a piece of paper, and she grabs a pen and paper, telling him that she's ready. He gives her the address, and says that she'll find some answers there. AngelX begins to ask him a question, but he puts the phone down, and the screen returns to normal. Stormy asks who it was, and AngelX hurriedly covers up, saying that it was the supplier calling back with details about their thing. Stormy immediately gets it, and AngelX turns to Dandy, saying that they've done all they can for the moment. Relieved, Dandy gets up, and heads for the door. Once she's gone, Stormy asks what Simon wanted. AngelX shows her the address, and says that Simon told her they can find some answers there. Stormy asks her what answers, and AngelX says that she isn't sure, but that they should go check it out. They get up to leave, but just then Stormy asks to see the address again. AngelX hands her the piece of paper, and asks her what's up. Stormy looks at her, and says that this is Eury's address. AngelX wonders what Eury has to do with anything.

In a coffee shop, Morgain is still fondling with the bag of pills Dd gave her. She takes one out of the bag, and looks at it intently. After a few moments of hesitation, she takes the pill, and swallows it down with her frappacino. Dandy comes in, and spots Morgain sitting at a window table. She comes over, and asks if she's seen or heard from ABM. Morgain tells her that she hasn't, and asks what's the matter. Dandy tells her that something's up with Amber, she's been lying to them again, and that ABM went to talk to her earlier, but he hasn't come back yet. Morgain tells Dandy that she's been out all day, but that ABM might still be back at the house. Dandy thanks her, then leaves. Morgain looks across the restaurant as Dandy leaves - when suddenly her vision goes blurry, and the room starts spinning.

At Morgain's house, Dandy knocks on the door, calling out for Amber. There's no reply. She knocks again, this time calling out for ABM too. There's still no answer. Dandy walks around to a side window, and tries to peer inside, but doesn't see anyone. She goes round the back, and notices that the doors into the backyard are open. Cautiously, she goes through them, again calling out for Amber. There's no reply. She walks into the kitchen, when suddenly she is hit in the head with a lamp. She crumples to the floor, unconcious, as the camera pans up to reveal her attacker - it's Amber.

In the hospital gardens, SeaBoy and Wolfshrub are pushing a pram with the baby inside. Steven S comes up to them, and asks how things are going. He coos over the baby for a second, as Wolfshrub says that they're bonding, they're becoming a family. Steven S tells them that they're not shoo-ins for parenting the baby, so they shouldn't get themselves too hopped up about it. SeaBoy cuts in, saying that they're ready for any outcome, but that they just want to prove that they can handle the responsibility. They stop walking, and Steven S stands in front of them, asking if they're really sure they can handle the responsibility. Wolfshrub says that they do think they can, and Steven S asks if they can handle raising The Bringer. Wolfshrub looks puzzled, and asks what he's talking about. SeaBoy stumbles, repeating the word "no". Steven S pulls out a gun, and Wolfshrub gets it. Steven S tells them to hand the child over, that The Man is destined to raise the child. Wolfshrub says that they won't let that happen, they're going to beat the prophecy. TomSmeagol comes out of the bushes, saying that they don't have a hope in Hell of beating the prophecies. He walks up to Wolfshrub, and looks into her eyes. He asks if the raising was painful, and Wolfshrub denies knowing what he means. TomSmeagol laughs, saying that she knows exactly what he means. Then he too pulls out a gun, and tells them that it's time to get a move on. He asks them to hand over the baby, when SeaBoy suddenly lunges at both of them. As the camera pans up, we hear three shots being fired.

*gasp* Poor SeaBoy! Poor Wolfshrub! Good God are these guys, er, people ever going to get a moment's peace?

heh. Can't help it. I'm starting to really like the Simon and Toothy duo. Kinda cool in a really mean way :)
