Back at the hospital, Steven S is finishing up with Wolfshrub and SeaBoy. He hands them some pamphlets, saying that adoption is a serious life-changing decision, and that they should do some more reading before they put their names on the list. He gets up to leave, and Wolfshrub asks if it would be OK to look after the baby until a decision is made. Steven S remarks that the baby still has to be looked after in the NICU for a while, but he doesn't see a problem with them taking the baby for walks, feeding him, and so forth. Wolfshrub smiles, as Steven S walks out, saying he'll put the paperwork in place. We follow Steven S as he walks down the hallway, towards the elevator. He gets in, and goes down to the ER. Walking through the ER, he waves "hi" to Jaymzangel, before walking out into the ambulance bay. He heads for a door marked "Hospital Personnel Only", and walks through it. He walks down two flights of stairs, into a dimly lit basement. In one corner, a man is lying down. Steven S comes over, and kneels down, bowing his head in front of the man. He tells the man that "they" are wishing to adopt the child, and that it will only be a matter of time before the window is gone. The man sits up - it's TomSmeagol. He kisses the man's head, thanking him for his work. He comments to nobody in-particular that the baby is still alive, and then he turns back to Steven S, and tells him that he won't miss another opportunity.

Over at Gemma's restaurant, she comes in through the front door, and is confronted by the sight of the place, trashed. The bar has been attacked with a chainsaw, the tables and chairs thrown all over the place, and black paint has been splashed over the walls and floor. Gemma stands, shell-shocked, until Toothy walks out of the back room. He looks around, and mockingly says that it's a good thing Gemma decided to redecorate. Gemma looks at him, and asks if he had anything to do with this. Toothy laughs, and says that he would never have anything to do with something so infantile. Then he stops laughing instantly, and looks at her, deadly serious. He comments that he might have something to do with it if it happens again, say when Gemma's just finished refurbishing the place. Gemma, holding back the tears, threatens him, but Toothy laughs it off again, saying that there's nothing she can do to harm him. He hands her a piece of paper, saying that its a list of extras he and Simon think Gemma should add to her restaurant. She reads the list, and says that it will cost half her budget. Toothy shrugs, saying that the financial wranglings aren't their problem. He says that he just wants it done, then walks out. Gemma continues to stand there, shocked, when Salty gingerly comes in. She gasps, asking Gemma what happened. Gemma breaks down, and Salty comes up to her, hugging her. She asks what's wrong, and Gemma says that she's made a terrible mistake, and that Salty was right - she's in far too deep.

Morgain enters the pharmacy, and heads up to Dd, who is at the main desk. She hands her the prescription, and Dd comments that it's a different one this time. Morgain says that her old one wasn't working out, and that Jaymzangel gave her a different prescription. Dd hounds Morgain with questions, asking her about her back, and her life, and with each question Morgain gets increasingly frustrated. Eventually, she yells at Dd, telling her to just give her the damn pills. Dd looks at her, half-surprised, saying that Morgain sounds like she needs to calm down. She hands over a bottle of pills, but then slyly takes a small bag of pills out of her pharmacist's coat, and gives it to her aswell. Morgain asks her what it is, and Dd says that it's her own mix, helps her to de-stress. Morgain asks what's in it, and Dd smirks, saying that there's a little bit of everything in it. Morgain pays for her prescription, then leaves, all the while holding the bag in her hand, looking it over.

Back at the offices, AngelX, Stormy and Dandy are in the office, discussing the social gathering. Dandy looks bored, and eventually Stormy snarks that if Dandy doesn't want to be there, then she could just quit. Dandy just glares at her, saying that the constant annoyance of Stormy is reason enough to stay. Just then, the phone rings, and AngelX answers it. We switch to a limo, with Simon in it, speaking to AngelX. The screen then splits in two, with one half as Simon, and the other AngelX. Simon tells her to take down an address, and AngelX asks what he's doing. Simon repeats that she'll need a piece of paper, and she grabs a pen and paper, telling him that she's ready. He gives her the address, and says that she'll find some answers there. AngelX begins to ask him a question, but he puts the phone down, and the screen returns to normal. Stormy asks who it was, and AngelX hurriedly covers up, saying that it was the supplier calling back with details about their thing. Stormy immediately gets it, and AngelX turns to Dandy, saying that they've done all they can for the moment. Relieved, Dandy gets up, and heads for the door. Once she's gone, Stormy asks what Simon wanted. AngelX shows her the address, and says that Simon told her they can find some answers there. Stormy asks her what answers, and AngelX says that she isn't sure, but that they should go check it out. They get up to leave, but just then Stormy asks to see the address again. AngelX hands her the piece of paper, and asks her what's up. Stormy looks at her, and says that this is Eury's address. AngelX wonders what Eury has to do with anything.

In a coffee shop, Morgain is still fondling with the bag of pills Dd gave her. She takes one out of the bag, and looks at it intently. After a few moments of hesitation, she takes the pill, and swallows it down with her frappacino. Dandy comes in, and spots Morgain sitting at a window table. She comes over, and asks if she's seen or heard from ABM. Morgain tells her that she hasn't, and asks what's the matter. Dandy tells her that something's up with Amber, she's been lying to them again, and that ABM went to talk to her earlier, but he hasn't come back yet. Morgain tells Dandy that she's been out all day, but that ABM might still be back at the house. Dandy thanks her, then leaves. Morgain looks across the restaurant as Dandy leaves - when suddenly her vision goes blurry, and the room starts spinning.

At Morgain's house, Dandy knocks on the door, calling out for Amber. There's no reply. She knocks again, this time calling out for ABM too. There's still no answer. Dandy walks around to a side window, and tries to peer inside, but doesn't see anyone. She goes round the back, and notices that the doors into the backyard are open. Cautiously, she goes through them, again calling out for Amber. There's no reply. She walks into the kitchen, when suddenly she is hit in the head with a lamp. She crumples to the floor, unconcious, as the camera pans up to reveal her attacker - it's Amber.

In the hospital gardens, SeaBoy and Wolfshrub are pushing a pram with the baby inside. Steven S comes up to them, and asks how things are going. He coos over the baby for a second, as Wolfshrub says that they're bonding, they're becoming a family. Steven S tells them that they're not shoo-ins for parenting the baby, so they shouldn't get themselves too hopped up about it. SeaBoy cuts in, saying that they're ready for any outcome, but that they just want to prove that they can handle the responsibility. They stop walking, and Steven S stands in front of them, asking if they're really sure they can handle the responsibility. Wolfshrub says that they do think they can, and Steven S asks if they can handle raising The Bringer. Wolfshrub looks puzzled, and asks what he's talking about. SeaBoy stumbles, repeating the word "no". Steven S pulls out a gun, and Wolfshrub gets it. Steven S tells them to hand the child over, that The Man is destined to raise the child. Wolfshrub says that they won't let that happen, they're going to beat the prophecy. TomSmeagol comes out of the bushes, saying that they don't have a hope in Hell of beating the prophecies. He walks up to Wolfshrub, and looks into her eyes. He asks if the raising was painful, and Wolfshrub denies knowing what he means. TomSmeagol laughs, saying that she knows exactly what he means. Then he too pulls out a gun, and tells them that it's time to get a move on. He asks them to hand over the baby, when SeaBoy suddenly lunges at both of them. As the camera pans up, we hear three shots being fired.
