Subject: All My Boardies, Episode 2x06 - High

Special Guest Stars TomSmeagol, and Eurydice. Guest Starring RJA, Gemma, Dd, Joe Camel, Steven S, Phaedra, with Simon, and Toothy.

Scene opens in AngelX's office. She and Simon are dressing themselves after their sexcapades, with their backs to each other. Once he's finished dressing, Simon turns to look at AngelX, who is buttoning up her shirt, looking out the window. He looks as if he wants to say something, but he changes his mind, and simply leaves. On his way towards the main entrance, Dandy asks Simon what he's playing at. He doesn't answer her, and she grabs his arm, and whirls him around to face her. She asks him again, and he replies that his affairs don't concern her. Dandy whispers that when the affair is with her boss, it does concern her. She wants to know what Simon's endgame is, and he smiles. He tells her that all will be revealed in time, and then he brushes her hand off his arm, and continues walking on, ignoring Dandy. She watches him leave, then casts a look at AngelX's office, before storming back into her office.

ABM walks in through the doors at the office complex, and sees Stormy and Phaedra at the main desk, reading a letter. He comes over, and asks what it is they're reading. Phaedra gives him a dirty look, then storms off, saying she's got some tech work to be getting on with. Stormy slams the letter into ABM's hands, and goes to walk off too, until he stops her. He asks her why she's always got to be so defensive, and Stormy says she isn't being defensive, she just doesn't like him. ABM points out that they used to be good friends, he wants to know what's changed in such a short space of time. Stormy gestures in Dandy's office's direction, saying that he got in bed with the devil, that's what happened. ABM says that he can't help his feelings, and reminds Stormy of the thing she had with Oracle. Stormy says that she didn't just mean Dandy - but Toothy and Simon as well. ABM looks away, and says that there were circumstances. AngelX had kicked him out, remember? He didn't have a choice. Stormy said he could've turned them down. ABM retorts that he'd just lost his brother, all he felt was pain and loss, but Dandy helped him through that. Just by being there for him. And when the time came, he knew making an agreement with Toothy and Simon was the right thing to do - after all, he and Dandy had dirt on them, the Directors can't touch them as far as he's concerned. And it makes him feel better, having a purpose, a role. Stormy takes this all in, and is about to apologise, but ABM walks away, telling her not to bother, he knows she doesn't mean it.

Morgain enters the pharmacy, and goes straight up to the counter. An assistant asks if she can help her, but Morgain says that she needs to speak to Dd, urgently. The assistant says that it's Dd's day off, and that she'll be in again at 8am tomorrow. Morgain seethes, and says that she really, really needs to speak to Dd. The assistant asks if its anything that she can help Morgain with, but Morgain shakes her head furiously. She leans in closer to the assistant, and asks if there's anyway she can get the assistant to tell her where Dd lives. The assistant shakes her head, but slyly begins writing on a piece of paper. As she reiterates the company policy on releasing staff details to members of the public, she continues writing, until she slides the paper on to Morgain, accompanied by a packet of plasters picked up off the counter. She tells Morgain that that'll be $1.50, and Morgain hands over the money, thanking the assistant. As she walks out, she reads the bit of paper - it gives her an address, and also says that if it's about the meth, then Dd will be more than happy to see her. Morgain smiles, and runs towards the street, hailing a taxi.

Back at the office complex, ABM enters Dandy's office. He puts the letter on to Dandy's desk, and asks her if she's heard about Gretch and Es. She takes a look at the letter, and after a moment asks where they got a helicopter from. ABM smiles, and says that he really doesn't know. But it sounds exciting, having their own adventure. He leans forward in his chair, and takes Dandy's hands, saying that maybe, in a week or two, they could do something similar - just take off, go anywhere. Dandy kisses ABM, and says that they have some things to sort out first. ABM sits back, and brings up the Amber issue. Dandy asks him what he's planning on doing about the PI. He says that he thought Dandy could have another crack at him, try and coerce him into discarding his evidence. Dandy looks surprised, and asks ABM if they're even going to talk about the fact that Amber commited homicide. Twice. He looks her straight in the eye, and says that everyone makes mistakes. He's willing to help Amber, she would do the same for him if their positions were reversed. He tells Dandy that if she isn't comfortable with any of this, then she doesn't have to be involved. Dandy instantly says that she doesn't have a problem, and that she'll get right on it. Or him, as it were. After a moment of silence, Dandy asks if ABM is really willing to look past the murders because he loves Amber. ABM nods, and says that when someone means a lot to you, you can look past anything.

Over at The Gen Board, Eury's car pulls up outside a beachside bar. She looks at the bar from inside her car, and steels herself before getting out. Taking off her sunglasses, she puts them in her handbag, locks her car, and walks into the bar. Once inside, she looks around - there aren't many customers, and not much staff either, but she can't see RJA anywhere. Just then, she hears voices coming from behind her, and she ducks into a corner booth. She watches as RJA walks towards the bar with a businessman, and then they go through the bar into an office. She gets out of the booth, but just then is accosted by a waitress. The waitress asks if she can get Eury anything, and Eury continues to look at the office, saying that she just needs to speak to the manager. The waitress says that Mr RJA is busy, but that if she wants to book a meeting, then she's more than willing. Eury cuts her off, and says that what she needs to talk to him about won't wait, and that he'll understand. She barges straight through the bar, to the protestations, and knocks on the office door once, before opening it. RJA looks up, and is shocked to see Eury. She says that they need to talk, and RJA just smiles weakly.

At Gemma's restaurant, she sits at the bar, on the phone. There's a knock at the door, and she glances up, to see Salty and LB coming in. She smiles, and gestures for them to get a drink, as she wraps up her phone call. Once she's done, LB has poured herself and Salty a glass of wine each, and she fills up Gemma's glass. Gemma looks at LB, and asks if she's been told of everything. LB nods, and says that Salty told her every last detail. Salty asks if that was OK, and Gemma smiles, saying the more, the merrier. She asks Salty if she's thought of a way to get Toothy to withdraw from the deal, and Salty replies that she hasn't really had any luck. She and LB have been brainstorming all night, but short of killing Toothy, they can't think of anything. Gemma asks why they don't just kill him, and Salty says that in all likelihood, Toothy's death will just mean a replacement from the Directors will come in, in his place. LB asks Salty how she knows so much about the Directors, and she and Gemma share a furtive glance, before she tells LB that she was once a contract worker for the Directors, and she was often paired with Toothy. Over the years, she felt that their views on politics and other areas were misguided, and opted out of continued employment. Toothy stayed, and obviously he's risen through the ranks over the years. LB is silent, until she quickly downs her wine. She looks at Salty, and asks if that's all true. Salty nods, saying that she left out a few details in the middle, but essentially, that's what happened. LB looks dazed, and Salty starts to tell her that it's a lot to digest, and she knows that, but she trails off when she sees LB drinking the rest of the wine from the bottle. When LB finishes, Salty tentatively asks her if she's OK. LB smiles, and says that now she's fine. And they can just get on with it.

In a high-class residential area, Morgain's taxi pulls up, and she gets out, nervously thanking the driver. She looks around, and glances a gate with the number "47" on it. She looks down at the paper, which has the number of the house down as 47. She cautiously walks up, and is about to press the button to speak into the microphone, but the gates open before she says anything. She looks around, then walks through them. As Morgain walks up the drive, Dd comes walking towards her, carrying a Martini glass and a Bong. She air-kisses Morgain, and says that she's so glad she came today, she's throwing a party. And does Morgain want to hear the good news? Morgain nods nervously, and Dd hands her the bong, and links their arms, saying that Morgain's invited. She walks them back up to her house, and through the front door, which a butler closes behind them.

In ABM's office, he and Dandy discuss what's going to happen with Joe Camel. There's a knock at the door, and Amber comes in. ABM gets up to hug her, and he asks her how she's doing. She says that she's doing OK, and that she really is sorry about the other day. ABM tells her not to sweat it, but Dandy doesn't say anything. ABM sits her down on the couch, and she asks how things are going. He explains that they're just coming up with a plan of action, and that Dandy has formed a connection with Joe Camel, and she's going to be the one to do the deed. Amber asks what he means by "deed", and ABM says that Dandy is simply going to coerce Joe into dropping his investigation. Amber asks how she's going to do that, and looks at Dandy, who can't look her in the eye. Amber gets it, and looks down at the floor too. All three of them sit in silence for a moment, until ABM says that they had better get on with it. He asks Dandy if she'll be OK, and she nods, saying she'll just go home to change first. She gets up, kisses him, then leaves. He turns to Amber, and asks her if she'd like to join him for dinner. They exit his office, and walk down the corridor, pausing at AngelX's office. They look in, and see AngelX and Stormy sitting at their desk, having a heated discussion. Amber asks what they're always discussing so secretly, and ABM says that they're probably bitching about him. They leave, and the camera zooms into AngelX's office.

Inside her office, she and Stormy are discussing whether or not they have enough evidence against Dandy and the Directors. Stormy is arguing that they've got the proof Dandy did it, that should be enough. AngelX says that they need to find out who contracted Dandy to it, and be certain. All they have for the moment are the vague clues left by a Director, who could very well be leading them on a wild goose chase. Stormy says that judging by Eury's demeanour earlier, she's guilty of something. AngelX says that most people have secrets, its only natural. Stormy leans back in her chair, asking AngelX why she's doing this. AngelX says that if they can get all the evidence, they can take down the Directors, rid themselves of Dandy and ABM, and also catch the people who wanted Shrub dead in the first place. She asks Stormy if that isn't reason enough. Stormy sits in silence, eventually mumbling an agreement. She then asks AngelX how they're going to get all this info, who points out that first they need to find out if Simon's telling the truth. Stormy says that AngelX should confront him, ask him why he's doing it, and AngelX stammers, saying that she'd rather Stormy did it. Stormy questions her, asking why. AngelX stammers again, saying that she just thinks Stormy should do it, she has better confrontational skills. Stormy looks at AngelX oddly, then points out that Simon obviously favours AngelX over her. She says that it would be better coming from AngelX. After a moment's pause, AngelX relents, saying that she'll go ask him some questions.

Cut to a limo, where AngelX and Simon are furiously ripping each other's clothes off. In the midst of all this, AngelX tries to get out a question, asking Simon why he's so intent on helping them solve Shrub's shooting. Before he gets a chance to answer, she pulls off his pants, and he throws her down on the seat. They kiss passionately, and then eventually Simon says that he has his reasons. He starts to kiss her neck, while she asks if he's just doing this to draw their attention away from something else, something bigger, and Simon looks up, his eyebrow cocked up, saying that unless he's mistaken, AngelX is very much aware of the "something bigger". He laughs, and AngelX throws her head back in ecstasy. He slides down her body, and as he does, he says that this has nothing to do with Toothy. AngelX begins to say something, but gasps uncontrollably. In-between her gasps, she moans out that she didn't mention Toothy. Simon crawls back up, and tells her to just be quiet, and they kiss again, this time rolling onto the floor of the limo.

At a police station, a sergeant checks the cells one last time. He looks in on Steven S, who is lying on his bunk, looking up at the ceiling. He walks away, towards the ward room, muttering something about "religious nuts". As he goes into the ward room, the lights start to go out. One by one, in a line, they short, leading right up to Steven S' cell. He gets up, and comes to the bars, trying to look down the corridor. He calls out to anybody there, and suddenly, out of the darkness, TomSmeagol walks up. He pulls the bars out of the wall with ease, and Steven S drops to his knees, worshipping Tom, who, after a few moments, pulls him back up again. He walks them towards the exit, saying that they still have work to do. As they leave, the lights come back, and the guard pops his head out of the ward room. He asks if anybody's there, but when he doesn't get a reply, he goes back in, saying to his fellow officers that he was sure he heard a voice.

In RJA's office, he and Eury sit staring at each other, not saying a word. This continues for a minute or two, neither of them moving or speaking. Eventually, RJA breaks the silence, asking Eury how she's been. She replies, heartbroken. He says that he's sorry, but he had reasons. Eury says that its OK, she's over it now. He looks interested, telling her that that's good. She tells him to cut the BS. He sits back, and asks her how she found him. Eury says that she remembered Kali mentioning that he owned property at The Gen Board, and she thought it was worth a try. RJA nods, and asks her what she's doing here. Eury sits forward, and bluntly says that she's here about Shrub. RJA sits forward too, and, in conspiratorial whispers, asks her what's going on. Eury says that they have a problem - somebody's been digging around, and they've connected them both to the hit. RJA looks at her, and after a moment says that this could be a very big problem.

At Dd's house, Morgain is sitting outside, on a sunlounger, looking uncomfortable. She watches all the PYTs (Pretty Young Thangs) run around, drugged-up the eyeballs and wearing practically nothing, and as the camera pulls back, we see a junkie guitarist sitting next to her, playing completely out of rhythm and tune. He stops suddenly, and asks Morgain if there should be an ascending chord change, or a descending chord change there, and Morgain gets up, saying she's going to get a drink. The guy calls after her to fetch him a bong while she's at it, and she wanders off into the kitchen. Inside, she leans on the counter, and asks herself what she's doing here. Dd appears in the doorway, saying that she's here because she wanted a hit. She throws Morgain a bag of meth, and tells her that this one's free of charge. Morgain puts it in her bag, and is about to leave, when Dd stops her, saying that she could have even better fun, as well as pain and stress relief. If she wants it. Morgain just looks at her, and Dd takes her hand, leading her upstairs.

In Gemma's restaurant, Salty is detailing to LB what she's going to do. She hands LB a card, and says that that is BSA's home address. LB is to go there, and talk him out of financing Gemma's restaurant. LB asks how she's going to do that, and Gemma hands her an accounts book. She says that this should do the trick, and LB takes a peek inside. She notices that the numbers are bad, and says that she thought Gemma was making a tidy profit. Gemma says that she is - these are faked. LB snaps the book shut, and picks up a bag. Gemma says to make sure he accepts the money - that way, at least she won't be in their debt, and they won't hold so much over them. LB asks how Salty knows this guy, and why he's going to be the one to help them. Salty says that from what she can remember, he was the mildest Director when she was a contract player. He'll be the easiest to persuade, and that way, once Toothy's out of the way, the Directors won't send in another one to take his place. LB nods, and goes to leave. She says that she'll call them once she's done, then leaves. Gemma asks what Salty's going to do now, and Salty pulls out a gun, and says that she's going to sort out Toothy. She pushes the phone towards Gemma, and tells her to call him.

At Joe Camel's motel apartment, Dandy comes to the door. She takes a moment to adjust herself, then knocks. He almost immediately opens the door, and is very happen to see her. He invites her in, and as she walks in, he closes the door, and instantly begins to strip. He runs over to the bed, in only his boxers, and leaps onto it. Dandy watches as he does this, and after a moment, he realises she isn't doing the same. He asks why Dandy's here, and she sighs, then climbs on top of him. She pulls off her dress, giving Joe a good look at her black lingerie. As she begins to rock back and forth on top of him, she tells him that he should quit investigating Amber. He grabs her waist, and, between moans, tells her that he's got enough evidence to put her away for a very long time. She continues rocking, saying that if he does so, there's going to be some very pissed-off people. Joe looks up at her, confused, and asks her if that's the only reason she's here. Suddenly, he throws her off him, off the bed. He sits up, and reaches for a gun. Before Dandy can properly get up, he points the gun at her. He tells her that no amount of sexual bribery is going to stop him from reporting this, so she's wasting both his and her time. Dandy says that if he would just listen to reason, but she's interrupted before she can finish. Joe moves the gun closer to her head, and tells her to get out. He says that he doesn't know why she's helping Amber, but that the should get out right now. And that the next time he sees her, it had better be at the police station, after he reports both Amber and Dandy to the cops. He pulls the gun back, and throws her dress at her.

At Dd's house, she leads Morgain into a bedroom. On the bed, two guys and a girl are making out passionately. Morgain averts her eyes, but they continue to drift back to the scene on the bed. Dd takes her into the en-suite bathroom, and closes the door. She asks if Morgain likes what she sees, but she doesn't reply. Dd tells her to take a seat, and says that the fun is just about to begin, she should loosen up a little bit. She pulls out a little tin, and pours white powder onto a shelf. She takes a razor blade, and stops to finely cut the powder. Morgain gulps, and asks if its coke. Dd laughs, and says that its an experience. She finishes cutting it, and takes a twenty dollar bill, and rolls it up. She sniffs up one line, and quickly flicks her nostrils, getting rid of the excess powder. Then she looks at Morgain, and holds out the dollar bill, which Morgain reluctantly takes. Dd smiles, and says that before she knows it, she'll be in heaven. Morgain looks down at the coke, then at Dd, and then dives down to take a hit.

At the hospital, Wolfshrub exits through the ER bay doors. Jay accompanies her, and asks if she's got someone to come pick her up. Wolfshrub says that she's gonna walk, she needs to clear her head before going back. Jay says she understands, and that if Wolfshrub ever feels the need to come back, not to hesitate. They hug, and Jay says that she's so sorry Wolfshrub's been through so much in such a little space of time. Wolfshrub says that it's not her fault, and that she's just got to work through the bad stuff in her own time, that's all. She walks away, with Jay watching her. As she walks past through the ambulance bay, she hears a voice calling her name. She stops, and turns, asking if anybody's there. There isn't anybody, but she does see the door labelled "Basement Access: Hospital Personnel Only" swinging open. She walks cautiously towards it, and opens the door, looking down into the darkness. She calls out "hello" again, and hears her name in reply. She tentatively walks down the stairs, and begins to see some light in the distance. She rounds the corner, and is confronted by a lair, of sorts - there's a big king-size bed, candles, desks, writing equipment. She comments that this looks just like something out of an Anne Rice novel. Just then, a man comes up behind her, and says that it's worse - it's Wolfshrub's very own, real life horror story. She turns, and is confronted by SeaBoy, standing there, smirking at her. She stands, shocked for a second, until he backhands her, and she goes flying across the basement. When she looks up again, she sees Steven S has joined SeaBoy, and she begins to sob, asking what the hell is going on. Just then, the two men fall to their knees, and Wolfshrub looks confused, until she turns around, to see TomSmeagol standing behind her. He looks down at her, and reminds her that they've got prophecies to keep.

At Gemma's restaurant, she sits in the near-dark, waiting. After a moment, she hears a click in the door, and she whirls around, glaring a torch in the direction - but its just Salty, checking the lock. She relaxes, and asks Salty if they've had any word from LB. Salty says that she hasn't, but that it doesn't matter - they don't need her go-ahead to bump off Toothy. Just then, they hear a stumbling in the back room, and a man's voice cursing the beer barrells. Gemma switches off the torch, and after a moment, she hears Toothy calling out her name. She says that she's here, and Toothy asks why the lights are out. He begins to laugh, jokingly asking her if she's really stupid enough to try and kill him. Suddenly, the lights come on, and Salty is standing behind Toothy, one hand on the light switch, the other pointing a gun directly at Toothy's head. She says that actually, that was exactly what they had planned, and asks Toothy if he has any last words. He laughs again, saying that he has just one last request, actually - that they turn on the TV. Gemma looks confused, and Toothy says that it'll be worth it. Salty tells her to do so, and they turn on the TV. On it, is CCTV footage - of LB being strapped to a chair, and a man strapping layer upon layer of explosives to her. Salty whispers LB's name, and Toothy smiles, saying that if that man doesn't hear from Toothy within the next ten minutes, then LB will go bye-bye. He turns to face Salty, who still has the gun aimed, but is staring at the screen in shock. He nonchalantly asks Salty what she's going to do now.

The restaurant crisis reaches boiling point, but will LB survive the ordeal?

ABM realises that all is nearly lost, and goes out on a last-ditch attempt to save Amber - but Dandy has her own ideas on how to handle the situation...

Morgain becomes a regular in Dd's world of drug-induced partying - can Amber pull her out before things get nasty?

Eurydice and RJA discuss how to handle AngelX and Stormy's investigation, but with Simon giving his undivided resources, and attention, to AngelX, they can't hold out for long....

And with Wolfshrub safely ensconced within his lair, what will TomSmeagol do next?

I've always wanted to be evil! Thanks, ABM.

But, I must intrigued by the increasingly-frequently and delightful-graphic sex scenes. And Morgain's descent into debauchery (and her ascent toward daytime emmy) is delightful. ABM, you have a way with words.
