[[sorry this is suckish. I had a helluva workload dumped on me but wanted to get this out for you before I crashed completely]]

Your mother, forgive me, sounds like an unmitigated bitch. Sorryn muttered to himself, blue eyes narrowing. Well then. This was an interesting turn of events. A Rebel in West Wing? Kosess would devour him whole for giving the cub amnesty. But... he couln't help himself. She was more adorable than he could stand. Once more he scooped her up into his jaws, trotting off at a much stronger speed for his den.

She didn't smell like a rebel and she didn't act like a rebel and was too young to be recognized as a rebel. Perhaps if he managed to cover the child in the scents of the land he could pass her off as a stray. Provided, of course, she was here for completely benign reasons. He hoped that was the case. It would be heartbreaking to have to kill her now.

Just because- He panted, stoping to catch his breath- placing her gently into the broken bowl of a marble birdbath lying on the ground. Just because I fight it doesn't mean I cannot have a heart, child. If so, it makes me stronger. I can judge between innocent and wicked and use that to my advantage. Isn't it more useful to have a living spy as opposed to a dead avenger?
