 | Gavin watched Kosses' multi-toned coat turn, catching the light and reflecting prettily. So unlike his own hide. A dull, lackluster and uninteresting white in the daylight. At night he was a site to see! He watched her pass through the brook, and pause on the far bank, turn back to them and speak... It was only the three of them? He wondered absently how she'd managed to keep the territory if it had only been her.
He started after her, brushing his shoulder against his sibling's as he passed, his paws splashing into the water without hesitation. The cool brook flowed easily around the obstacle of his paws, evidence of his passing quickly moving downstream as the water smoothed out hte sandy stream bottom. he passed through quickly, and came to stand cautiously beside Kosses, crouching just slightly, his gaze directed downward as he waited for his sister to join them.
Moina's stomach rumbled again as she thought about food, and she watched as Kosses and Gavin both crossed the stream. She stood still for a moment longer, eyeing the pair before leaping across enthusiastically, her tail wagging as she landed on the far bank. She dodged to the side to avoid crashing into the others, and dashed ahead, quickly retracing her steps to brush against kosses's side. She was a little too forward, a little too affectionate... As Gavin watched the display, he wondered what kind of leader kosses was. |
