She stops crying, not noticing the friendliness in his voice, and looks at Riverwind. "No. I haven't ever cried ever since my parents died when I was a pup. I didn't even cry when they did die. I just looked at their bodies and walked away." She stands up and starts walking to the lake. She walks on it and looks back at Riverwind. "No one will ever like you. You always push the others back, even when they just get a little close to you. I've always wondered why." She lays down on the still frozen lake. "If you don't want to say, that's all right with me. You just seem like that every wolf in this world doesn't like you. But even if you don't change your ways, I'll still have a place in my heart for you." She looks at her reflection in the lake, a tear in her eye.
