I've not paid much attention to food as of late, really putting my focus into working out, however, as of today, I will change that.

For me, it's just planning. I bought a box of organic, whole grain, low fat, low sugar cookies (stop laughing) to keep in my desk at work. I have a sweet tooth every single day after lunch and be damned if I can stop it, so instead, I'll feed it with a better choice than the usual. I have a box of dates at home for the weekends and I know I can make this work.

Yesterday's sins (I decided to commit them all)
- post lunch cookies (one low fat ginger snap, one regular fat oatmeal raisin)

- 4 mini candy bars while hanging out after work at my sister in laws pretending to hand out candy (they had zero children show up - not suprising in their area)

- dinner was a grilled chicken burger, 1/3 of Rob's fries and a side salad and water at Wendy's

- had a McIntosh Toffee Hot Chocolate last night while watching West Wing (I love that stuff).

Ok, there it is in black and white. Today, I'll eliminate the sweets and all will be well.

Must get in my 20 minutes of early morning exercise today too. My goal is to have a 30 minute cardio burst every morning, however, I'm starting at 20 and working my way up, and adding on my usual evening gym sessions. Wish me luck!
