Subject: No one seems to know the answer to this...

I recently bought a anolog (Not USB) 4 button Flightstick with throttle at RadioShack cat.#(26-447). It did not come with any software drivers. Do I need any? I have 2 questions. I love to play Axis from Real Aracade. That game along with others I have come across does not allow for Joystick configuration. You have to use mouse and keyboard commands. Why is this? It seems like all modern games should give you the choice. What am I missing? My other question is: is there a utility that will allow my joystick to emulate mouse buttons and keyboard commands? I recently downloaded two (JoyEmu) and (Joy to Mouse) but neither one of them could detect my Flightstick. Why would this be? I know it is working because I use it to play Evo 4x4 and it works well. It also shows to be installed correctly in Game Controllers and allows me to calibrate all the functions. It is installed on my SB Platinum 5.1 game port and I am running XP. I do not have SB 16 drivers loaded. Should this make a difference? Remember it is working fine on EVO 4X4.Do I need drivers for this? If so where do I get them? Is there a mouse/keyboard emu utility I can download so I can use my Flightstick (has 4 buttons and throttle) for mouse and keyboard commands. I am new to all this and need someone to educate me. Help!
