Should the party standard-bearing be purged from the roll for doing this? Certainly, if fully LEGAL voters ARE being purged due to some OTHER individuals MIGHT (or might not) be committing fraud elsewhere!

Correction: McCotter is being investigated for ELECTION fraud, which is what reptilican higher ups routinely engage in trying to GET (or stay) elected. I didn't realize McCotter's district was also THE richest in per capita income in Michigan, either ... just another reason to look at him much more carefully.

& don't get me started on the martial law municipality takeovers gutting the duly elected officials in lieu of unilaterally R-appointed czars currently going on even now as we speak in Michigan! Or besides having been on top of that story months ago when nobody else was reporting it, the fact that Rachel was also way out in front of & all over the ALEC repressive conservative lawmaking conspiracy efforts in R-controlled legislatures nationwide MANY months ago. Do or did you even know what ALEC even is, especially before the recent spate of corporate member pullouts scandal of the last couple of months?

Boehner & the House machinery routinely can't (or won't) follow House rules of order to save their souls, plus they contrived bullshit means to get some of their cavalier 2010 freshman members sworn in wrongfully (which didn't work when they got caught, leading to a do-over).

Of course, this merely serves to bolster their true underlying desired message that gov't is a bunch of crooked assholes only out for their partisan selves, further increasing ennui & disgust in the electorate & thus further suppressing citizen voter turnout/participation all to more easily manipulate results in their favor via dirty tricks, which obviously is their true goal in all this. It's the opposite of inclusively seeking to expand their tent (we've talked about this before) through outreach.

Then there's the amazingly consistent adage I see happening again & again that the entities screeeching the loudest against corruption & about wrongs being committed out of the blue are much more likely to be systematically & cynically directing the scent/blame/scrutiny in any direction other than on what THEY THEMSELVES are actually trying to pull off! (yet another page from ye olde sociopathy 101 playbook)
