Still watching bracts on the goldfish plant!
However, in the meantime, my Aeschynanthus (duh, I forget the species) is flowering away away away!!!
I bought it for its green and brown marbled leaves, but the "dragonshead" flowers are soooo cool. Wish my camera lenses hadn't disappeared. These flowers are green and chartreuse with brown around the face.
And the bracts, before the flower opens are spiky. I'm glad I stumbled upon this plant in the mega home center store last fall.

Denny, is this what you got? Jatropha pic

The peace lily is all open now and beautiful! Thank goodness for it and my AVs that add some life to an otherwise dreary winter. My Chamadorea elegans (parlor palm) is in bloom. It's bloomed every year since I got it, about 4 years ago. Not a spectacular flower, more like stunted grapes, but I like it just the same. Tells me Franz is happy and healthy.
