I've been packing and trashing stuff recently to move. I came upon my collection of a magazine from the '70's: House Plants and Porch Gardens, edited by a guy named Peter Tobey. I think I have all of them. It was WONDERFUL with incredible photos and really interesting articles. The stuff is still interesting. Found one with a big feature on gesneriads. Imagine. Had a Sinningia pusilla on the cover, closeup... so wonderful. Miss that one sooooo much. Nothing like it since. Nothing. and why?
How would one go about starting such a magazine? the time has come for it again.

What a find! Buried treasure, nothing less. I think the answer to the why no house plant magazine is lack of advertisers. Too bad, really.
