An easy way to transfer files from one folder to another is to open both folders - Click [RESTORE DOWN] at the upper right in the toolbar. To resize the folders so that you can see them both, move the cursor to the top, bottom, or sides untill the cursor changes to a double arrow. Click the left mouse button & move the mouse to resize the window, so you can see both folders at once. (Click in the colored area at the top of each window & drag while holding the mouse button down to move each window).
You can then select the file(s) you want to transfer by clicking each file once while holding down the [CTRL] key or using [EDIT] [SELECT ALL] in the toolbar to highlight them.
Next, Right-Click on any highlighted file & drag to the other folder & release. In the pop-up box, select [MOVE] or [COPY].
selecting [MOVE] will move the files from one folder to the other, and selecting [COPY] will copy the files to the other folder while leaving them in the original folder also.
This transfer method also works across a network to transfer files or folders from one computer to another.
