"After you finish your explanation, I have an assignment for you. This will be worth plenty--your training is nearly complete, as it is, but you still must pass a few examinations. If all goes well then, you will become an assassin and a member of the guild. I'll explain them when you return. You are to track and capture one feline. This feline."
A small grey striped cat sat beside her foot, tail curled snugly about her body, eyes focused on the apprentice.
"You will have up to five days to find her and return her here. She will venture where you can follow, and will hide--if you do not catch her beforehand--without going too far down any of the roads available to you. Perhaps two days worth of travel, at most. You should be capable of returning well before your time expires.
"Should your time expire before you return to the doors of this academy, you will get far less credit for your effort. Be wary--my feline can be difficult to spot..."

The feline fled, darting out into An'kor City, and the assassin smiled. "During the time you are missing, I will run a few simple errands in town if you are desperate to find me."
