Guinevere strode quietly across the turf of the training grounds, strutting towards her student with an unmistakeable air of authority.

"It is nearly time for you to be certified a true assassin, my student. Nearly. I have seen your skills, or what of them I care to see. I will set you several tasks, as one of my associates once did with her own students. If you complete them successfully, I, as Guildmaster of the Assassins, shall induct you into this Guild. Should you not, you will need to prove your worth somehow, or provide me with sufficient reasons to make you a full assassin, before I will consider letting you retry your final test."

A slender eyebrow arched, but she left no room for debate.

"The first is to explain the pros and cons (at least three) of three weapons commonly used for assassination. Not including poison. The second is to list three effective poisons, your reasons for choosing them, and a description of how they work. Third task is to successfully fire five arrows into a target, using whichever bow you so choose, from five different positions. Should you bullseye them all, you will succeed. Should you miss, you must repeat task three all over again. The positions include: standing, lying down, crouching in that tree, hiding behind that little wall, and standing on the roof. That is your target, right there."

The assassin gestured to the target in question, as well as to the designated areas, marked with red x's.

"The forth task is a spar in swordfight. As I have no other students present, there are no folk I've deemed worthy for you to stalk or fight in An'kor City, we shall duke it out, you and I. You will duel me. I will deem your skills worthy or unworthy as I see fit, and the fight will cease at my command, or if I defeat you. If you are defeated, you must try again. If I cease the fight and deem your skills worthy, you pass.

"The final task is an assassination. You must find a mark in An'kor City and kill them using whatever method you prefer. If they notice you, fight back, or kill you, you fail and are obligated to try again. If you are successful, you pass. [Make up an NPC, and I'll play it--I'll respond coresponding to if your method is worthy or not... I'll respond as I would if I was playing the character and it was getting assassinated... if they get suspicious, they'll fight back... They will not kill you, however... Guin just said that for effect... This is still "training", and as it's an NPC I don't believe it qualifies for points]"

Guinevere crossed her arms idly. "That is my verdict, as of now, and you may now commence on your final tasks, in the order I listed them."
