"I had said that you had arrived without weaponry. But I also meant my other, later question. What weapons would you have planned to bring in preparation for this task? Perhaps, as you stated, you were careless and forgot them. Such carelessness is troublesome, and any difficulties you may have had with your target would have been deserved should you have left behind your equipment. Should it have been broken on the journey--ill repair, perhaps, or sabotage--then your situation would be slightly more forgiveable."

Pausing in her rant, she considered the solution further.

"A few potential difficulties with your solution. What if the horses did not respond to your stones and spook? Most reasonable guards should be mounted on horses that are not prone to crazy antics, and even should they be startled to a gallop, would it not be likely that the guards would try to slow this wild dash as fast as possible, to return to their employer with utmost speed? After all, he is a rich merchant, and only by keeping him alive do they earn their coin.

"What sort of token did you plan to steal from the man, should you have time to do so?"
