Subject: chattering/shaking

I was wondering if it is unusual for them to not chatter. We got our squirrel a few weeks ago and they chattered non-stop with each other. Lately, I've noticed they don't chatter with us. Unless they are chattering quietly at night and we can't hear them. My husband stayed up late last night and said he heard them chatter very shortly then nothing. From all the posts I've read, they chatter your ear off. Our don't utter a peep.

Also Button, our female is very scared. She trembles when we get her out to play and then when I let her down to explore the room, she jumped at our slightest movement. After a little looking around, she climbed up my arm and settled in my hair on my neck, but she is very scared a lot. Our male, Rocky is just the opposite. He's ready to play even before we take him out of his nest. He loves climbing around and getting into trouble. Button is so timid and all she does is curl up. I put her on my dresser so I could change my shirt (she'd peed on it) and she climbed into tissue box with her treat and wouldn't come out. Is it possible that Rocky is eating all the food and not letting her have enough? I've seem them fight for food before, but I try to put enough for both of them. I've never had squirrels before and I am worried about them. I just want to make sure they are healthy and doing okay.
