Bob: You say that they are about the same size as your Southern flyers. The Northerns flyers that I have seen are again half the size larger than Southern flyers. Last fall a speacial TV program from one of our local stations here in Minnesota was talking about the effects of global warming, and how animal species from more southern states are moving North. Two flyers one a Southern, and one a Northern were side by side, big difference. Maybe the Virginia Northern flyers are different than our Northern flyers.
