When she speaks, her voice does not issue from her mouth or her horn as it is with most. Instead she prefers to call up an elemental wind with combined tones deep as the earth, soft and whispery as the air, sinuous as the water, and burning like fire* True, not all the world is evil. But I have been betrayed too many times to trust it any longer. I hide from nothing but my own fear of falling again into the trap of friendship and not being able to get out before my trust is once more shattered.
