Had a very much the same problem and tried to hot wire the fuel pump but still nothing. Checked mass air flow and still nothing. after determining that I still had compression, fuel and spark I took a gamble on the fuel injection brain. 1000 bucks later and 15 minutes to install it I was back on the road. If you have a buddy to swap one out and try to see if it fixes it, thats what I'd do.
