well the birth is over and done. seems there was no need for that hot water. Shoot, they don't even make you change clothes or wear a face mask anymore.
I stood right by the bedside and helped bring that baby into the world, by golly. While her exhubby held her left leg, bent at the knee, and pushed it back toward her head with each contraction, I did the same with her right leg. I also had the title of official counter!

8, 9, 10, let it out, take another deep breath and go again"
Man, what an ordeal. I had to put down my camcorder and assist! I will miss the captured images on film, but will forever hold them in my memory. My grandson ozzed(is there such a word) out about six inches from my elbow. Yikes!
The miracle of birth never ceases to amaze me. You guys just don't know what you are missing. You should give it a try. :D
