Dear PSD and Leggy,
Thank you for the good work you do here. I know how many hours you
must spend monitoring the happenings on this forum. You both work
full time jobs, and yet find time to administer and post, all the
while, thinking of new topics to keep it *fresh*.
I can imagine how difficult and labor intensive this week has been,
with all of the extra focus on Name Calling. A subject that NEEDED
to be brought out into the open. Thanks for using discernment in
banning those who post ONLY for the purpose of being abusive.
It's must a challenging burden, having to anticipate problems
BEFORE they happen, ie. going private this Weds. morning. Glad it's
not my job to monitor 24/7. Takes enough time just to post LOL.
Each of you have skills that really complement each other. It
takes great teamwork to run something like this. We have explored
topics from Islam, Poetry, Sex, Americanism, Humor, Love/Romance,
Cooking, Abuse, Gratitude, Media Coverage, Anthrax, Phobias,
Claim to Fame and many more. Views have been controversial, humorous,
angry, sad, educational, soulful and inspirational. EVERY emotion
has been expressed on this forum. We got thru Sept. 11 together;
There were times when many of us wanted to share our thoughts
and feelings yet didn't want to disturb our families/friends.
We KNEW we could post here 24/7. And no matter, whatever the conflicts
and difficulties, we are still standing! And thru the painful times,
has come unity. We express our care for one another, and we also
openly embrace the new folks.
Something special is happening here. And for that I applaud both
of you. For your time, your efforts, your committment. Thank
you for giving US the GIFT of expression. Kudos! Congratulations
for a job well done and may 'The Force' be with you this
Thanksgiving and always.

Silky,,,,, awww I don't know what to say,,,,, I know speak for Leggy as well,,,Thank you so much,,,,,We Love this forum and what is has become,,,we are very proud it,,,,,,and sure,,, it takes a lot of work,,,,,,(*Leggy does most of it*),,,,,but we enjoy it,,,,,it gives us something to look forward to ,,,,, I can't tell you ,,,how much I enjoy coming home from work relaxing on my sofa and reading what everyone has to say,,,,, I even enjoy some of the bickering,,(lol) but it does have to be monitored pretty much all the time,,,, we try to do our best and think up new topics often ,,,,, sometimes it's pretty hard to think of any ,,,,,,but you guys are great !!!you really take the topics and go with them ,,,,and it really helps out,,, it shows you guys love it too,,,,and when someone like you ,,Silky , gives us such a compliment,, it makes it all worth while ,,,,,, We want to thank you and everyone who posts here !!!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT !!!!!!

That post was *music* to my ears. I realize that everyone who frequents this forum (with the exception of one)...enjoys it for what it is...and it is many things to many people. It is not, however...a "bashing" board...and if others who would bash US would notice....we do NOT stoop to "name calling"...we post facts even if sometimes they ARE confrontational...they are STILL...."facts". Thank you so much for speaking out about this...sounds more truthful coming from you than from me, gf...since I'm the poster of most of the "confrontational" material *grin*
When PSD started this forum (I was not going to restart another after blondeambition had our original one shut down and we had attracted all the ridicule from another forum)....I was wary of opening myself up again...but my buddy talked me into sharing it with him....and I'm so glad he did. It has grown beyond my expectations...20 posters on here so far today. And you mentioning Sept. 11th brought back memories of how everyone on here pulled together and comforted one another....it was a rather surreal time...and we got through it together...like you said.
You have thanked me and PSD repeatedly for this forum...but like him, I must thank all of YOU. If you'll notice...this forum isn't about MY "personal" life....or PSD'S "personal" life...unlike other forums it does NOT center around the two of us......THIS forum is for everyone...and is ABOUT everyone. And without all YOU guys....it wouldn't be here....so THANKS all you posters AND readers...and have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!

I want to thank you both for letting me be apart of this forum.For in doing so you have brought so meny new friends into my life.And for that I can't thank you enough.You two have helped me through good times and bad times,I don't know what I would have done without the two of you.I know its hard on you both at times to keep up with all of us and the things we do and say.You all have a great Thanksgiving for I am most thankful for friends like you all.
