Okay, that sounds plausible... there is a section in The Lost Colony User's Guide you might like to check out on telepethy that would pertain to you. It is on page two, Magic. Just so you get an idea of what applies to the game. Also.. if you want your character to be mildly telepathic (as in forming a connection..but not actually speaking, like you described) feel free to give me any suggestions for the telepethy area..and any points that should be changed etc.
But anyway, since psycic waves are not exactly physical like sound and frequency.. the guarding on the cell walls would not affect it.
