your lovely message made me think of a Scripture in Acts 16: 14 I will quote, "And a certain woman named Lydia,a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul."

First of all Lydia was ready to recieve, so the Lord opened her heart, just the oppisite of Pharoah. But THEN she attened, and I emphasize the word ATTENDED. If she had not attened to the words spoken to her by Paul, it would have been like the Seed on fallow ground. Jeremiah 4:3 says;
"FOR THUS SAITH THE LORD TO THE MEN OF JUDAH AND JERUSALEM, BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUND, AND SOW NOT AMONG THORNS."

and as HOSEA so beautifully penned;
"SOW TO YOURSELVES IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, REAP IN MERCY; BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUND; FOR IT IS TIME TO SEEK THE lORD, TILL HE COME AND RAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS UPON YOU." Hosea 10:12

we are warned in Luke about where the seeds shall fall, so many times we go to church and listen to the preaching and even remark how wonderful it was, but five minutes later, we can not even remember where the message was from.

Yes we must ATTEND the precious Word of God.
