Hi Dean!

You wouldn’t be thinking of my 6.5kg Rogues would ya? As you know I swear by light boats. THEY ROCK! (as does all light gear) It’s all about power to weight ratio – especially on the first few strokes. I’ve paddled plenty heavier before going light, and won’t return…

My current Rogue is 3 years old, seen plenty of action, has a few repairs (I course I try NOT to be a target). It now comes in a shade over 7kg. I fixed the seam issues by adding a 1” Kevlar tape external seam. No seam breaks yet on this boat.

Cheers, Marty

Oh, and anything over about 8.5kg is not light, and 10+ is heavy – in my books.
