Ellendea

Ellendea is a simple city, the intense beliefs in healing clear around every corner. The buildings already built here are mostly used for two reasons, the Medics and the compound of Earth. In the Earth Compound, the Master of Earth works with the chosen champions and builds them for battle in the Dome, and later, battles in the Adarache. Also, all the healers and medics can be found here. They are constantly filtering in and out of Ellendea, going about their business.

Floating in to the city with a very clumsy aura of exhaution hanging about him. He hits the ground with an enormous thud, standing up on all of his legs and folding in his gleaming bronze wings and walking over to the nearest spot under a tree large enough to fit his drogon body. By human means he is still large but by dragon means he is thin sickly and far to small to most of his kind. Laying down on the ground under the shade he falls asleep whispering to himself "you will feel better after a long nap after flying for so long". Closing his eyes and drifting off into sleep feeling the releif of slumber reach every inch of his bronze, scaley body.

Shin'aka stumbles into the city, her grand wings flaring out occasionally to hold onto her precious balance which was quickly retreating. She was downright tired, and more than anything, wanted to lay down and sleep for a moment.

She stops her progress and folds her bronze wings to her sides, sitting on her haunches and waiting for the others to make their entrance. The air, clean with the smell of fresh earth matter and dirt was phenomenally rejuvenating, and already she was feeling better.

Her foreclaw, however, was no longer numb, but now burning in agitation and had the color of an unhealthy green with a rim of red. She sighs and rubs it slightly, trying to rid herself of the itching, but stops when she realizes that it isn't helping at all. She bows her head and watches for the others."

I am pushing back the date of the battle you guys are having in the Dome until the 7th of January. I have been loaded with work recently, and I haven't had much time to do anything. As such, today is not a good day to start a fight. You and the other masters can go ahead and have battles in the Adarache; I encourage you to do so. But I (as Shai) can not judge a battle until after Christmas Break. I'm sorry.

{}An amused smirk quips briefly at the corner of the Master's lip as the second dragon wings gracefully onto the leaf studded grass. Nothing drastically suprising thus far, and nothing to worry about, the triumphant taste of competition was the seed that made their cities grow, and nurtured their trades. This she ponders slightly as they wait for the riders to dismount. Deals and conditions would need to be struck, competitions arranged, and all of the various plans that went with fights within the domes. It was early yet, and things would be sure to start without much furvor, though as tempers rose and stakes grew...
Sepia gaze flickers back to the present.. it did not do to dwell upon the future when things were expected in the present. Her concentration wavers slightly, glancing briefly to a rustling weeping willow, it's shimmering leaves the color of silver gold. The flexible branches rise and fall gently, weaving together into an elegant, though sturdy bench swing, influenced by every ripple of Aeraelin's blustering element. Her gaze moves to a pile of the fallen scarlet maple leaves, watching bemusedly as they whip themselves into a suitable bench of earthly fire, circled...somewhat as a mischevious afterthought.. with dry twigs.. kindling. Of the other rider she was unsure, but readies an idea in good measure should she be Fayre's guest, then turns to accept the new arrival...

::A small golden speck glints against the blue sky, it's speed soon carrying it close enough for it to be made out as a dragon carrying someone on it's back. The large female circles the city, sunlight gleaming off her hide. Angling her approach to be both regal and imperious, she comes in quickly, cupping her wings as just the right moment to settle down smoothly and gracefully despite her size. Tierce crouches, making it easier for the Master of Air to descend, but keeping her head high, her bearing so confident as to almost border on arrogance. Silently, the drake waits, scanning the area unobtrousively for Ellendea::

Shin'aka makes her re-entrance into Ellendea, this time a rider borne on her back. She lands smoothly in the courtyard of the verdant city, and lengthens out her neck to allow Daron to dismount. She gives a tentative call towards the Earth compound, implying that Ellendea should come out and meet her new Champion.

Shin'aka makes her descent into the city below, her great bronze wings folding elegantly as she landed deftly. She looks about curiously, her neck craning in all directions to see what she could. From what she had noticed, the Master had not made a formal entrance, but it was clear she was near. Shin'aka settles down and waits, her silver-gray eyes slitted but a little.

A slight movement in the thick wall of green bordering and enclosing the dusty sun baked dirt of the road goes unnoticed upon the deserted track. The only witnesses, a few wary hares peeking from their roadside burrow, long delicate ears alert to the benign alien presence hidden in the thick midsummer foliage. A small wren trills out a warning as a shadow glides lazily across the dirt track, circling lower until the rabbits pull back into their warren and even the birds fall silent. A pair of ravens, gleaming in the afternoon sun, wing slowly into a landing, the larger allowing a chuckling croak from his ruffed throat, amused at the small creatures' presumptions of danger. The second ignores the cackle, meandering down the road in search of the small sundried dainty they had spotted from the air. Suddenly, sound resumes, a brave jay hopping onto an overhanging branch to scold the audacious black birds. The previously inspected form, satisfied that the other creatures were comfortable with her presence, steps from the verdant screen, a small piece of greenery seperating itself from the vast expanse of forest behind her.
The figure steps onto the sunlit road, steps soundless but for the gentle rustle as a breeze stirs her clothing, much as it would stir the leaves of a tree. Earth tones irisis shift along the path to rest upon the city beyond..her destination. An undignified squwak shatters her silent reverie as the first raven notices the moving piece of shrubbery, jumping sideways with a flutter of broad wings, eyes wide with disbelieving alarm. The woman's round face brightens into a delighted smile at the creature's suprise, her ringing laughter almost seeming to catch, as the nearby trees rustle with obviously similar amusement. The raven, composure regained, glares at the surrounding plants, strutting bravely twoard the stranger, halting at her feet and cocking his onyx head, peering up into her face with a single beady eye. She only returns the gaze, laughter settling into an amused quirk to her lips as the large bird turns, apparently satisfied and lopes back to his partner.
The woman only shakes her head quietly and continues upon the path.
Striding through the city gates, built of massive woven vines, her attention travels to it's inhabitants, the healers bustling through the streets, off duty Medics sharing newfound cures and a flash of scales or a shadow overhead signaling the arrival or departure of the city's Dragons.
The smile never leaves her cheerful face as she observes the activities of the city that bore her name... Ellendea.
