[waiting until the last second, the illusion tucked it's wings in tightly, cruising swiftly beneath Archer, tail thrashing towards the smaller drake with a force that would be terribly devastating if he was indeed real. Flight tipped awkwardly, yet the illusion was a whirling, furious maniac, tail thrashing, claws raking, jaws snapping. Every so often a billow of flame shot forth, the illusion frustrated and fighting technique suffering for it.
The Master watched on, mind routinely maintaining the spell, working it. This illusion was reminicent of a dragon who fought others in a setting much like the Adarache, or just like this practice. She had studied, and memorized, his behavior, and was now drawing forth that knowledge and modeling the illusion after the drake in question. She had known his weaknesses the moment he saw him, and yet portrayed the dragon to perfection, not over-emphasising his flaws too much.
Aeraelin considered to herself, pondering if Archer would use size to his advantage. In the great scheme of things, Archer was indeed fleeter than the illusion, due to size. He had a better chance of evasion. The illusion, due to his bulk, may tire sooner, she considered. Wasting energy on excess moves, careless motions, illy-considered attacks, was only going to tire the illusion sooner. Which it was doing... Her eyes didn't stray from the scene, intently watching her champion and her illusion duke it out in a practice fray]
