~securing her lasso tightly to a corral pole, a pole she knew was securely sunk into the ground and would take a colossal effort to budge, even from a few horses together, she made sure that the mare would still be secure, even as Kirkpatrick would work with her. It wouldn't hurt to have the mare secured.
Picking up another lasso from nearby, she slowly circled the loop above her head, seeking out the perfect time to throw. When the specific split-second was found, she was pleased to launch the rope and watched it carefully as it flew directly towards the stallion, on a perfect trajectory to settle 'round his neck... But would it?~
