Sighting the log, the mare's ears flick back, then shoot forward as permission is given. A smooth canter gives way to a slow gallop, the mare never slowing or hesitating as they approach. Keeping her pace, her muscles bunch, hindquarters pushing them away from the ground. Tucking her legs up neatly, they land softly, the jump not having interrupted the flow of her strides. She snorts, pleased with herself, tugging just enough on the reins to ask if they could go again.
