That woman was my mother; she ended up marrying Selneth's...mother's cousin's cousin." Shane grins, sympathizing with any confusion Ambermoon might suffer from. "Who was also some other, closer relation that escapes me at the moment. The caravan's so close-knit that it doesn't matter how not-related everybody is to everybody else; you're either on a first-name basis with someone, call them 'Ma,' 'Pa,' or 'Aunt something,' 'Uncle something.'"
