(Scene: The camera fades in to show a man wearing an old Cincinnati Reds button down jersey, black baseball pants, and a Cincinnati Reds baseball cap. He is sitting in the stands watching the Cincinnati Reds play a spring training double header against the Texas Rangers. His dark sunglasses hides where his eyes are focused. As the camera zooms in, he smiles as though he expected the attention.)
DH: “Ahhh, yes, I was wondering when you might find me. Of course, I’m not very hard to find this time of year. Just doing a little pre-season evaluating of my team!”
(DH takes off his shades and momentarily soaks in the sunshine. He then looks back at the camera.)
DH: “You know . . . I just realized. This whole Spring Training game is a microcosm of my beginnings here in the WCHW!!”
(DH stops and sighs.)
DH: “Since I know that some of you hardcore wrestlers in this fed might not understand the word I just used, let me explain it to you. Say it with me now. My-kro-koz-im. It means a small example of a larger whole. Thus, this baseball game is a small example of my larger world in the WCHW.”
(DH turns his attention back to the game.)
DH: “For example, I’m here in the pre-season, scouting out my team to see how they will do. I, too, am in the pre-season of the WCHW scouting out my opponents. And, from the looks of things, it could be fun indeed!”
(DH points to the man in the batter’s box. The pitcher throws and the hitter nails a towering game-winning home run to center field.)
DH: “Yet another example of how this game is a microcosm for my stay in the WCHW. You see, that hitter was none other than the Designated Hitter. As the DH, his team calls on him to bring power, stroke, and dominance to the plate. I, too, will bring power, stroke, and dominance to the WCHW. And, I also look for the same results as what we just witnessed! I plan on hitting a homer in this fed!”
(DH puts his shades back on.)
DH: “And one final microcosm for you all. The Reds just swept the double header today. At Rebirth of Tragedy, I am scheduled in two matches. Don’t be surprised if I sweep the double header, too!”
(DH stands up and follows the crowd out of the stadium. The camera fades to red and black.)
