(Twelve months had seen an immature young man grow into a strong and quiet adult. Gabriel Marita had served twelve months for possession and weapons charges and spent many an hour contemplating himself and his behavior. He had spent a great deal of time with Kade, Rico, Jewel and a counselor once the truth about his father had come out.. and he had been able to let go of a lot of the baggage he had carried around for so long. Now that he had been released, he planned on getting an apartment in the area and staying around... perhaps getting his liscense back again. He stopped in the lobby of the lodge to reach down and itch his ankle where the tracking band was sitting against his skin. He wasn't allowed to leave the five county area until his probation was up. With a sigh, he stood again, his eyes running over the faces in the room, he had come here to find some silence and relaxation away from his Aunt and Uncle. Sure, he appreciated Jewel and Rico's hospitality more than they could know, but he needed some alone time without eyes on him or hushed voices speaking about him. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Kelci over by the fireplace, and his eyes swept down to the baby. A little math and those eyes made him tilt his head, awakening yearnings in him that he had put to rest over eleven months earlier. . He walked towards the pair, as if being sucked in.. he just wanted to look at her.. )

She finished changing the baby, placing a kiss to her bare tummy causing the baby to squeal and kick playfully, before snapping all the buttons in place. The first time she had tried to dress Analeigh in one of these things she had nearly cried out of frustation. A lot of things made her nearly cry, she just didn't feel like a very good mother sometimes but she did love the little girl with everything she had. She picked her up against her breast, bouncing her lightly as she sighed, trying to figure out what she was going to do about their only mode of transporation that currently sitting useless in the parking lot. At least they had gotten here before it started to quit. She had gotten her liscence while she was pregnant and while she still hated driving it was kind of a necessity...
