She tensed at the voice, she recognized it before she even looked up. Instinctively, she clutched the baby a little tighter to her as she slowly stood, taking a deep breath. "Didn't think you would come back around here." She stated, nearly bumping into the couch as she backed up to put a little distance from him. Jewel and Rico had tried bringing up the subject of him a couple times, she knew he had been in jail and she knew some of his history now. It made everything a little easier to understand but it didn't make his treatement of her any easier to accept. If he had his way, she wouldn't be holding this little girl in her arms right now.
