A flash of hesitation and something akin to fear flashed in her eyes at his question, her brow furrowed as she looked down at the baby. She was quiet for a long moment before she looked up - her amber eyes bright. "She's...she's my world...you know?" And she was terified that he was going to take her world away from her. She just couldn't trust him, not after everything that happened. It wasn't that she thought he was going to hurt Ana, that was obvious, but she knew how easy to fall in love with the baby it was and she was terrified he was going to want her all to himself and push her out of the picture.
