Careful to keep Ana covered from the cool night air, he laid her into her carseat, making a soft sound when she fussed a little at being removed from his chest. He figured out the carseat without much trouble and double checked it a few times to be sure. Dropping the diaper bag onto the floor of the jeep, he closed the door and went around to get into the drivers seat. Once inside, he turned up the heat and looked over his shoulder at a sleeping Ana and smiled.. it was nice having someone small that was connected to him.. he felt as though it made his life worth living.
