• Potia headed into the Cafe looking as elegant and truely italian and she was, her long straight black hair framing her olive tanned features. She was coming straight from an audition which she completely wasn;t sure if she had landed or not- but was pretty sure she had failed miserably. She ordered a latte and absently let her dark eyes wander the room, flikering over unfamiliar faces, but pausing as they landed on the single familiar face, and one which brought a slight smile to her lips. She paid for her drink and headed over slowly, sipping at the froth on her drink before speaking "Hello Kier.... and Maliik isn;t it?" She remembered his sisters baby from their last meeting- and she;d also run into Summer a couple of times at the park when she had taken Leo out. • He smiled warmly at her as he looked up, nodding a touch. "Hey there...yeah, this is Maliik, good memory, it's not a common name." He shifted on the couch to make room for her if she wanted to sit down. "Where's your little guy at?" He questioned, he loved kids and her boy had been cute though he was still unsure about how the child had come about, he figured it wasn't really his business but he had noticed she didn't wear a ring and that gave him all the liberty in the world to talk to her as he pleased...which made him intrigued for some reason. • "His father is living around here?" He questioned in a seemingly absent fashion as he gave Maliik the binky that Kai hated and Summer insisted he have. If it were up to Kai, he was pretty sure the kid would be wearing a rag and have a tatoo already. "Yeah, Summer and Trinity are having a girls day out, doing all the bonding and stuff. Guess they had a pretty hard time of it when Trin first came to live with them and she can still act up sometimes..." It was still hard to believe that out of his twin sisters Summer was the one with the 2.5 children, the house with the fenced in yard, the dogs and the husband while Autumn was where she was. • Portia nodded gently, giving an affectionate smile to the little boy as he took his binky "Yeah, he lives near the beach with his girlfriend... He's doing the college thing though so he's pretty busy with school work and exams right now." She lifted her gaze back up to Kier as he spoke, smiling a little. She got pretty lonely in all honesty- Leo was great- but after 7 at night it was a long lonely night that she spent infront of the TV doing ironing or tidying up - she missed not having the 'husband' part of the family- but she'd never have wanted Adam as a husband. • "Yeah, It was kind of a mess there for awhile...Kai wasn't exactly the best thing for Summer till he realized she was the best thing he ever had and shaped up quite a bit." He stated softly, shrugging his shoulders. "He's doing real good for them now...Trinity's mom is a real crack case, always on drugs and strung out so Kai and Summer got custody of her...Summer is doing a really good job with her, even though its got to be hard, you know? Raising someone elses kid..." His eyes were thoughtful as he looked over at her for a second before he cleared his throat. "So this guy, he spends time with Leo and whatnot?" • She thought on that for a moment anbd nodded a touch, she supposed it would be very hard, it was hard enough when it was your own. "Yeah, when he can." She glanced back up to Keir from Maliik with an almost wry smile touching her lips "At first he didn;t want to have anything to do with me... told me to get rid of the baby and everything... but I couldn;t- so my parents took me back to Italy and I stayed there for a while... When I came back here to finish school I wouldn;t let him see Leo- I can be pretty stubborn and I hold a grudge like nothing else. "She rolled her eyes playfully. "But I realised Leo needs someone in his life as a father figure, and Adam had changed his mind about it all- wanted to see him an everything... so I guess things worked out." He stated softly, honestly before he finally gave up and set Maliik down on the ground, letting him crawl around though he kept a close eye on him the whole time - though he managed to still sneak peeks at Portia where she was sitting next to him. "So, I know that you are younger then me...but exactly how long are you, darlin'?" He questioned quietly, keeping his voice low for no reason other then he was only talking to her and there was no need to share the conversation with everyone in the cafe. • "Yeah well..." She shrugged her shoulders, a fine, dark dark arching softly as she watched the child. She was alone- and she felt it, but there was no point getting dispondent about it- it wouldnt change anything. "I'm doing okay, alone or not." She let her mind wander over that for a few moments as she too watched the little boy crawling, allowing a faint smile to play at the corners of her lips, before he awoke her from her daydreams. She glanced up to him and flashed him an easy smile as he asked her age- she got that a lot, she looked mature for her age- but the child on her hip usually was the thing to throw people off. • He got up after a few minutes to fetch Maliik - causing the boy to shriek and him to wince as he held him away from him for a second before he brought him back to his chest. "Well, you seem like your doing good for yourself. You move back in with your 'rents when you came back over here or what?" He questioned, not remembering if her parents were back at RD or if they were still in Italy but curious as to where she was staying. Last year I did pretty well in Italy so I had a fair bit saved up , and I was able to buy a nice place over here... I model- so the money isn;t bad." • He shook his head, letting out a soft breath, his brow furrowed a little as shushed Maliik before he turned to her and cocked a brow. "Modeling, huh?" He'd had his share of models, definately couldn't complain about that. "Sounds like a good time and no..no family thing as of yet...not really around enough for it I guess." He shrugged his shoulders slightly, his brow furrowed a little. Yet another year that they hadn't made it to the superbowl. He always said that the year they won the bowl, thats the year he would retire. He'd give the superbowl ring to his father and then back away and live comfortably for the rest of his life. He stated with a smile before he nodded again. "Yeah..I play football for a living...so during the season I am always going from town to town you know? Only back for two days and if the next game is in Cleveland or something, its not even worth it to come before I am back on the road again..." he shrugged a little, sitting back down on the couch and smirking as Maliik grabbed onto his fingers tightly, bouncing on his lap. • She cocked a brow softly at that, she remembered his father had always been big on football- she remembered the boys always playing as children- but she hadn't suspected he'd gone into it for a career. "You must be good, who do you play for?" In all honesty she didn;t travel too much- which was one of the reasons she was having problems getting on anyones books here- she had other responsibilities and she couldn;t be on a flight to Millan in an hours notice. "You must miss everyone..." She let her dark eyes flicker over his with a gentle smile- she knew what it was like to be unsettled and moving from place to place. • "Miami." He stated absently, brushing a hand over his shaved head before he shifted on the couch again so he could look at her a little more straight on. "I miss my family a lot, yeah, I am not to big on the travelling anymore, it was cool when I was twenty, twenty one but its getting old now." He shrugged a little, maybe he was just getting old. The life of a famous football player - the money, the drinks, the ladies, the VIP status - just didn't appeal to him as much as it had in his past.
