The less travel time they had to spend, the more time they had to just enjoy themselves - so he was confident that they could find somewhere appealing nearby to go away for the weekend. Somewhere kind of quiet maybe - where they didn't need to take laptops and assistants and dayplanners preferably. He loved traveling and he loved all of the places that he got to go for work, but he did find himself missing not having her around these days, and it would be good for him to get away from the job for a bit - it could be so consuming.
