Their friend was really stuck right now, and he worried that if this didn't work out and Gavin couldn't deal with rehab that they just might not see him again. He didn't say that to Emily though because he knew she would just get even more upset. His brows furrowed a little but he gave her shoulders a gentle squeeze and pressed a kiss to her cheek.
