Author: Emily
Subject: She was just angry that Gavin seemed to care so little about Bianca's feelings. He was just wanting to make it easier on him well screw that. That was the boy's job, to look out for his girlfriend and to take care of her, to put her needs first and love her no matter what. Seemed the men around these parts just weren't raised like that thought. "Well, heaven forbid it be hard for him when he's the one who put himself in the position to have to go." She frowned heavily, her southern drawl thickening in her agitation. She shifted to sit forward, grabbing her smoothie and taking a long drink of the thick liquid that made her cheeks cave in and kind of took away from the rightous indignation kinda look that she was going for.

  • His brows raised at that and he shifted so that his arm was no longer around her and instead he was leaving forward with his elbows on his knees - head turned so that he was looking back at her. "Heaven forbid we're not all as perfect as you are, Emily. Get down off of your high horse and start acting like a friend. I've known Gavin since I was like five, and he is more compassionate and generous than anyone else I've ever known." And a few years ago, there was no way he ever would have stood up for the guy like he was now - but they had been through a lot in those few years, and he had discovered that they had a lot more in common than he ever would have imagined all through their years in school together.
