Subject: He was quite drunk when he made his way towards her, alcohol being his only comfort as of late. The bottle was always there when he needed it, it never left him, and it made things better. What more could he ask for. He looked a mess, his clothes were wrinkled, his hair unkempt and his face dusted with stubble. His eyes were red and bloodshot, and his breath reeked of alcohol. He had fallen quickly down a path that so many others before him had taken before. He gave her a lopsided smile when he saw her and dropped down on a swing of his own, no words issued

  • Her brow furrowed gently as he stumbled towards her and dropped intot he swing without a word... the deterioration of the man she loved had been rapid in this past month, and she was quite at a loss as to what to do. She couldn't help but blame herself for it... even if she wouldn't admit it. "Are you okay?" Her voice was softened with genuine concern, but more deep than the concern was the hurt that strained it.
