(He looked at her for a long moment, his gaze somewhat knowing. He knew taht she and Jewel didn't get along.. a blind and deaf man would know that Skye and Jewel didn't get along. Finally, he sighed and once again showed that his girls were his weakness in life.) Fine. I will take you home and then Sam and I will go see my parents. (He didn't look particularly pleased about it though, though he rarely argued with Skye when she got that pouty look on her face and this time would be no different. Slowly, he got to his feet, keeping the baby cradled close to his chest and ducking his head away as Ayden went for a fistful of his Papi's hair. Sure, he wanted to tell Skye that he didn't give a rat's rear end what his mother thought of her.. but that was simply not true.. he cared what Jewel thought, he just didn't care for her opinion... or the fact that she voiced it all the time. He really wished that his mother could get over her bitterness and love skye as she had fyre.. but he was beginning to think jewel was incapable of that. He reached out his hand for Skye's and forced a bit of a smile.) And we can still stop at Dairy Queen on the way home.
