This is that day cause I can feel it
You know the type of day you ain't lettin' bad vibes invade your spirit
As the birds chirp your favorite tune

"If you are going to be this pussy whipped, Lucian, I don't think we should be friends anymore." He could hardly believe he was out here at seven a.m. on a saturday morning with a rake in one hand and a garbage bag in the other. What he did for his friend, seriously. "What's next? Babysitting orphan children? How about feeding the stray cats down town?" He shook his head, growling softly. "I don't care how good the sex is, it's not worth getting up at six o'clock in the morning on a Saturday and I don't understand why I am here. I'm not the one dating the girl." He was ranting, sure, but that was what he was good at and he was definitely not a morning person. When he'd agreed to accompany Luke for the day he had not been properly informed that the day started at dawn. Saturdays were a day he could generally get away from his house, usually spend the night at Luke's the night before and sleep till the early afternoon but no, this saturday, they were chasing after a little brunette who apperantly was on the 'save the earth' train. He loved Rachelle to death, was protective of her as all get out recently and had a blast with her when they all went shopping. He liked teasing her to get that cute flush on her face and he loved how happy she made his best but this, this was pushing the limits of his love. "You owe me big time, really big time. Hardcore big time." His voice still held a low, morning growl even though he had been up over an hour and a half, his body just didn't understand that it was supposed to be awake at this ungodly hour and honestly, his brain wasn't quite comprehending it either.

When she had climbed into the car that morning at six thirty, she'd laughed at the disgruntled looks on the boys faces and had given Luke a kiss and a whispered promise that she would make his sacrifice well worth it for him. She honestly did appreciate him doing this for her, though she hoped he would get something out of it too, she wasn't holding her breath for that to happen. They'd made it to the park and gotten their begining tasks and then she had headed off to do her own work and find her new friend. She had met Whitney about a week ago and had been thrilled to find out the girl had also volunteered for the project. They'd hung out a few times though not for any amount of time, just talking at lunch in the cafeteria or in the library over study hall. She liked the girls personality and down to earth attitude and it hadn't taken her long to find the pretty blonde girl. They had gotten assigned to the same task which also made her happy. Having someone to chat with would make the time go by even faster. "Hey you!" She greeted with a bright smile, a bit to cheery for so early in the morning but it was a good day in her books. "Please tell me you are in a good mood, if I have to deal with anymore growling and grumbling I might just scream." She huffed, though it was all in good nature, she could handle the growling and grumbling from the boys since they were there helping out her pet project, after all.
