  • "Why don't you take a break and meet us at the park?" She questioned sweetly, grinning as Sam reached up for the phone and took it from her. "Yeah Niko! Come play with me and Aiden! We are looking for four leaf clovers and I bet yoooou could find one cuz you are the best at everything!" Skye just laughed, shaking her head as she reached down for the phone again. "It's a nice day out...we can call Bryan to come over and hook up all that stuff later, he's good at that kinda stuff." The pout on her lips was onbvious in her voice as she tried to win him over to coming and hanging out with them at the park, goofing off for a bit with the kids and then maybe finagling some dinner out of him....she was hungry and desperately wanting some Chinese food. • (He narrowed his eyes at the cord, angry with it for being so annoyingly retarded and not working, then let out a soft grunt as he got up from the crouch he had been in. His thigh muscles urned a little, though that was good, since he had started to work out again a few weeks earlier - he couldn't stand even the minute bit of pudge he had started to gain. Sam's words made him laugh, and the soft chuckle continued as she took the phone back and told him that Bryan could do the work.) Alright, alright, if you're going to twist my arm.. (He teased, already reaching for his keys off the top of the desk. He nearly tripped over Harley in the hallway and rolled his eyes he went for his shoes.) • She grinned lightly, tipping her head to the side and then reaching down to pick up Ayden when he flopped down on the ground, his tiny brow furrowed and a pout jutting his lips out because Sam was paying attention to the phone instead of him. "Well, that will be very convanient for everyone involved, honey, now, are you leaving right now cuz I want you to be here." She stated with a grin, tipping her head to the side as she let out a soft breath and shifted to sit down on the bench. At nearly six months along, she was getting quite round, carrying the baby completely in the front like she had a little basketball hiding under her shirt - her mom said that meant she was carrying a girl but who knew? • (He let out a soft sigh as he slipped out the front door and took in a breath of fresh air.. it was so nice to get outside when you'd been couped up all day, even if that couping was self-imposed. Now that he was hearing the voice of his girlfriend, he missed her desperately.. she and the kids had left early that morning and he had kept himself busy with work since then.) Yes, I am leaving now, right this instance in fact. (He murmured, locking the door with his keys and then heading down to his truck. He groaned when he realized that Harley had slipped out with him. Conveniently, Skye had said she needed to tend to Ayden anyway.) Alright sweetie, I have to corral the dog anyways. (He said with a soft laugh, hanging up and going to chase the oversized puppy down and dragging him into the house. Five minutes later he had the house locked up and was on the road.) • She grinned lightly as Ayden started babbling on about something, some understandable words thrown in there amongst the jibberish - enough so that she understood he was talking about 'his' dogs. "Daddy is leaving the puppies at home Ayden, they need to take naps!" She exclaimed with a grin before she looked up, her brow furrowed a little as a strange prickling sensation built at the back of her neck. She had been a honed and perfected weapon in the military not to long ago. She hadn't spent so much time being pampered and impregnated by Niko that she lost all of the skills she acquired and she felt like someone was watching them. Her head lifted to look around, her eyes scanning the area around them. She didn't see anything unusual but it didn't settle her unease, though she figured she was just being paranoid. • (He turned up th radio when his Lynyrd Skynyrd CD started playing "Freebird" - the song after which he had gotten his call name. He sang along for a few bars, and couldn't help but laugh as he realized just how much he had changed since Fyre had shown him how to be a man and not simply an emotionless machine. He smiled a little as he thought about Skye, and how amazed he was that they were back together and how glad he was that he was able to be the sort of man that she deserved. Pushing those thoughts aside, he relaxed back in his seat and navigated the Ram Quad-cab through traffic, finally pulling into a spot in the small parking lot near the park. As he climbed out of the truck, his eyes scanned in that typical manner of his.. you could take the man out of the agency, but you couldn't take the agency out of the man. • She smiled brightly, tipping her head to the side as she heard his footsteps behind her. Turning around, she grinned as Sam ran over to him and lifted up her arms so he would pick her up and spin her around like he always did. "It's about time you got here." She teased him quietly, smiling up at him. She wore her pregnancy well, practically glowed and looked like she was excited and happy with life and that was a correct assumption. She was totally happy with their life, in a way that she hadn't been before, she was slowly learning how to adjust. She still had her doubts every once in awhile but she was working through them and she did have a psychiatrist she saw once a week - she had gone under Niko's encouragment and that helped a lot, plus, she knew she could always talk to her boyfriend. As usual, Sam answered him by grabbing his hand and dragging him towards where they could look for four leaf clovers. With a soft chuckle, he stopped her and crouched a little to look her in the eye.) I need to go say hello to your mom first, k? (He said softly, and tapped the end of her nose gently before getting back up and heading over to intercept his beautifully pregnant girlfriend. He put his arms around her and leaned in to kiss her softly.) See, now I would have been here sooner had it not been for those pesky speed limit laws..   • (He smiled as he gazed down at his son, reaching out to pick up the boy and letting his gaze shift to Skye even as he placed a sloppy series of kisses on ayden's cheek, making him squeal with delight. His girlfriend grew more and more beautiful the further she progressed in pregnancy, a fact that he still didn't understand, since she was just about the most beautiful thing he had ever laid eyes on before he had knocked her up. His thoughts made his smile turn into a smirk, and he shifted Ayden on his hip a little, trying to ignore the way his body responded to her touch on his leg.) You'll get plent of attention once the rascals get to sleep, right Ayden? (He winked at Skye, his gaze flicking to his son for a moment as he again shifted him. • "Night time is sooo far away though." She let out a deep breath and then shifted as the hair at the back of her neck stood up again. She frowned a little, looking over her shoulder. She was being paranoid, she knew, they were at a public park, there was no doubt that people glanced over at them while they walked by, they were a striking couple, that was for sure. "I keep feeling like someone is watch me, ever get that feeling?" She questioned casually, her brow gently knitted. "I hate it." She shrugged it off though and reached down when Sam asked her to tie her show, rolling her eyes lightly. "Samara, you know how to do this, does Daddy tie your shoes for you all the time?" • (He lauged a little, opening his mouth to say something that was no doubt charming and understatedly sexy when he saw the look on her face change. Her paranoia struck a deepset concern in him and his eyes scanned the area as she bent to tend to Sam.) Yeah, I've gotten that feeling.. I'm not a big fan of it myself. (He said softly, keeping his voice low even though his tone was highly distracted as his eye moved across the grove of trees. Sighing, he looked down as Ayden tugged on the leg of his pants, sitting on the ground beside his foot and looking up at him. He multitasked then, his attention divided between his family and the concern that Skye had instilled him with her words. A small smile tipped her full lips at that, she always been attracted to the bad ass agent side of him, found it unresistabley sexy, much the same way she found the father side of him sexy. "I am sure it's nothing, sweetie." She assured him before she looked down at Ayden. "He said Papi earlier today, I thought Rico might possibly split from the way he was grinning so big." She grinned a little at the memory, she loved spending time with Rico who adored both Sam and Ayden - to bad Jewel still refused to see reason and totally and completely hate Skye with an intense passion. • (He let out a breath as Ayden twisted a bit in his arms and elbowed his abs. He really was getting out of shape, but it felt good to have that muscle ache.. it meant he was getting somewhere, and he intended on being back in peak condition as soon as physically possible. With one hand on Ayden's side and the other on his girfriend's side, Niko's eyes scanned over Skye's features with a sort of amused longing.. every now and then it struck him just how blessed he was.. to have his girl, his son and sweet little Sam.. and now with another little one on the way.. it was all so.. perfect.)
